The room was rudimental for a 4 star hotel. The towel rather small and a bit worn out. You have to ask for the slippers, it's a bit cheap for a hotel of that standing. Bed was hard like stone. We had only one night and ended up with back pain, and it was difficult to sleep. We booked two simple bed, but when we arrive it was a double bed. The staf was reactive and separated the beds, but it's annoying to have to wait for this, when it should had been taken care of beforehand. The blanket were very small, more suitable for children. Shower... Low pressure, the mitigateur not working properly. Either you take a burning shower or a cold one. No middle temperature. Breakfast was included but don't except anything decent. Croissant was terrible. Better enjoy a good bfast somewhere else (two buoys, crust...) As a local I will not recommend this place at all. Put your money in better place.

In the middle of San Giljan location is good. Even if it's a busy area,the hotel is in a quiet street. The view from the room was amazing. Staff was okay, the French ones were especially friendly. Apart from that, the hotel is not worth a 4 star, and too pricey for the quality. There are much better around.

We had a corner room , so we had a balcony overlooking the marina and a veranda with a wonderful sea view. The staff were very helpful. The hotel was kept impeccably clean. We will definitely be returning.

Pool: The pictures used on booking.com of pool area are misleading 1. Swimming pools were very poorly maintained, were badly maintained, door glasses were broken, scratched, no clean place to sit, no towels or bathrobes available 2. There was bad smell in the indoor swimming pool. There were no showers for guests to take before going to the pool. Room 1. Air conditioning in room didn't work well; keeping balcony doors open wasn't an option as there was no way of turning balcony lights off 2. There was no ventilation or exhaust fan in bathroom, making it stuffy and smelly Overall infrastructure is old and requires renovation.

1. Location: The hotel was well placed, everything was walkable and had bay front 2. Breakfast: Hotel had a rich breakfast 3. View: view from balcony at 5th floor was pretty good.

the elevator was super old, the gym was not properly designed, the water of the shower is hard to control

during this stay there was works being done to the pool area, which we were not informed about. it was noisy in the mornings before we went out for the day the rooms were very warm at night and when we spoke to the reception they were very helpful, explained that as it was their winter the central heating was still on. within 30 mins we had a large fan delivered to our room and our problem was solved.

this is the 4th time we have visited this hotel it has the perfect location and amazing sea/bay views. rooms are always very clean and the deluxe rooms are spacious. breakfast has everything you would want. plenty of fresh fruits and healthy options. cooked foods are plentiful and fresh. omelette station offers freshly made to order omelettes and eggs done the way you want our daughter is vegetarian and she has plenty of options

No AMEX Aircon not working - only had heat. Bathroom very small and door arguably should open out, not in.

Booking.com did not indicate that there was no access to the outdoor pool and the sea due to refurbishment works. There was drilling noise each week day for the 2 weeks I stayed there. I would not have booked this hotel had I known as swimming and using outdoor loungers would have been an important feature of my holiday

The elevator is slow.

Breakfast very excellent and big. Clean, goodly and spacious hotel, will definitely come back. Perfect service, there is a very beautiful area around the hotel, and the view from the room was excellent.

The outdoor pool was closed and so was the access from the hotel to the sea. This was pretty much the reason that we booked the hotel so this was a major disappointment. Also the air condition in the room only provided warm air but no cooling. And finally the breakfast room is very noisy.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel room was amazing and the view and terrace was spectacular. We went for my boyfriends birthday and the staff decorated the room with rose petals and wrote happy birthday with them on the bed. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was very good too. will definitely visit again.
