Super location! Lots of busses nearbey. We liked the building, there is a little pool on the rooftop. In the room everyting was new, modern, clean and nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

It is a real shame that the hotel doesn't offer breakfast. However, there are some great places to eat & get coffee within a two-minute walk. If you like a good night life, you might want to be elsewhere on the island - but I chose this spot for this reason. It's a lot less frenetic than Valletta and further up the cost, making it a good place to relax.

This is the second year I have stayed here & I was touched to be greeted by name. The hotel staff are always very friendly & an added bonus this year was the flexibility to have a friend stay a few nights for only a nominal sum. It is extremely well placed for public transport and there are a growing number of local restaurants locally offering a great variety of cuisine.

It was very noisy early in the morning before 9 am. We did not have working adapters in the room and were not warned that we will need them and we should bring some with us.

The staff on the reception were very friendly and helpful, it was very clean, the room was in very good condition for this money.

Very cold in the bathroom and the shower cabin requires some maintenance... The double bed is actually 2 single beds connected and the gap between them is annoying while sleeping.

The reception lady was very kind, she gave me a lot of recommendations. Thank you! The room was big, and the hotel was quite close to different bus stations.

tv has no netflix, just old maltese shows on go, which was dissapointing

My stay at the hotel had both positives and negatives. The receptionist gave us a warm welcome and detailed information, but after a long flight, the 20-minute explanation felt too much as we just wanted to rest. I appreciated the complimentary room upgrade for my birthday, but the room was uncomfortably cold, even with the air conditioning at maximum heat. Being on the ground floor, the room also lacked sound insulation, and the noise from the street and housekeeping made it hard to sleep. While the staff was friendly, the noise and temperature issues impacted our comfort.

- There was toxic mould in the shower (in the silicone and in the grout between the tiles). After the first night I felt the effects of the mould, blocked nose, sore throat… - The TV didn’t work when we first arrived, we asked for help from the staff but they didn’t know how to fix it - It might be specific to our room but pipes made a very very loud noise whenever someone flushed water in the adjacent rooms

+ The staff was really kind + Early check-in + Towels were provided and changed for a fresh set as needed + Good public transport links in the area + Rooftop terrace with jacuzzi and sun-beds

The hotel must get 24h onsite staff. If there are a group of people staying at the hotel, they don't pay any attention to the quiet after 22h rule. They will just party... loudly slamming doors, running around the hotel and shouting at each other until 3am. As happened while I was staying. Expecting me to be responsible to report them makes me do the job a staff member should do. While I have paid to stay there and am on my holiday. Also, the toilet seat in my room was broken. Also the TV would not work.

The mattress is not very comfortable. And the queensize bed is joint by two single beds, there is a small gap and ofc hard edge inbetween. Besides, there was a cockroach in the room. I killed it close to the sofa with my flipflop. We reported this to the receptionist, and was told that they will arrange a deep cleaning for our room. But when we returned in the evening, the dead cockroach was still there. It was not gone until a few days later.

The staff in the reception was very friendly and helpful. The room is nicely decorated. And the hotel is located in a very local neighborhood.

The shower gel wasn’t good at all, you dont feel clean after using it. The floor was full of dust and lint that we ended up making the bed dirty with our feet. There were also no water bottles and we had to buy from the vending machine which does not take bank notes or card, only coins. Tap water in malta is not safe to drink regardless what google says. The communication with the property on booking.com wasnt good as they only sent automated messages even when asking questions. Everyone in this country wants to get rich by doing the bare minimum.

The property itself is nice and the location is good. The woman at the front desk was nice.
