Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Though as a solo traveller I did put the giraffe ornament behind the door with it being on the ground floor and having an electronic key in case anyone tried to come in. The area was very safe and no issues but maybe a bolt inside you could secure to know you were fine would be helpful but really it was just a precaution - I was perfectly safe and would stay again!!!
It was a beautifully kept apartment exactly as described with very helpful hosts. They very kindly left some milk and snacks on arrival - milk was much appreciated! Plus, help me find great things to do on a New Year’s Eve. The bed was very comfy and there was a good amount of space including the shower where you could bend down to shave your legs! Added benefit of a study area that I used as a dressing area! Well appointed kitchen! Lovely little street location that was a quick walk to the ferry across to Valletta - only a 10mins walk not as far as google maps say as there is a new foot bridge. Also handily in ground floor so no need to carry a case up the stairs! Very handy electronic key on door so no need to carry a key!

This was my first ever time staying in an apartment/Airbnb as opposed to a hotel, and it was brilliant. Completely opened my eyes to this type of accomodation. Everything was clean, labelled and well set out. Easiest check in process on earth. Would absolutely book this place again should I fly to Malta in future. Thank you André and Jana

United StatesWhen so much was absolutely perfect, it's hard to point out room for improvement as some concerns may have been outside their control. The water pressure in the shower was weak and there was only cold water in the kitchen sink (that was the norm in Sicily for instance). Instead of parking on the narrow street where the property was, we found it much easier to park by the city wall just a few minutes' walk away. It felt safe and was also free. There was considerable noise in the street outside the property each night and we could word for word from someone's TV even though the door was closed!
We have stayed at booking.com facilities the world over and never experienced anywhere close to the phenomenal communication we had at the Senglea property! All properties should emulate these hosts who were proactive before, during, and after our four night stay offering suggestions for tours, replacing a toaster promptly that didn't work, providing snacks, games, stationery, toiletries, AND tourist brochures. I appreciated being kindly notified what the expectations were of us in terms of recycling, and placing used towels in the hamper before checking out. So few properties have a matching set of china as this one did. How refreshing not to use mismatched china all the time! It was things like this that showed the hosts know how to welcome guests and make them feel at home. I loved the huge fridge and freezer so that I could freeze water bottles as freezer packs when we left!

MaltaLocation can be a bit noisy sometimes but not really a big concern. For car owners, you might need to park a few minutes away.
Small apartment, great for a weekend or a full-week. The kitchenette is super equipped, so cooking a meal for yourself is quite easy.
