I was put in the room with staff, which was fine but you kind of felt like you were staying in someone else's room. One staff member was very sick during my time and had to stay in bed, which obviously wasn't her fault but I ended up getting sick a few days later. The beds are also not bunkbeds but three levels and I got the middle which although was comfy, I couldn't sit up straight. Very quiet vibe.

The hostel is beautiful, a really lovely Maltese house. The staff are very friendly and the bathrooms are clean. The kitchen seems to have everything you need.

Staff are friendly. The bed is really confortable and they gave me clear instructions for getting the keys outside their available hours for check-in. I could leave my bag after my check-out. I highly recommended this hostel in Sliema.

Cozy and inexpensive hostel in Silema. The rooms are not big, just 6-8 people, and provide all the facilities. There's a nice rooftop.

The school opposite means it can get very loud on the street in the morning, not a criticism of the hostel just a heads up to bring earplugs!

Location is perfect, there's a great bakery around the corner for a light breakfast and the sea front is very close by. Plenty of food options to eat out nearby and a kitchen in the hostel to cook for yourself. The hostel is lovely, clean and has a really friendly atmosphere, staff are so lovely and helpful.

Granny's inn was second hostel that I visited in my life and I have to say it was really spectacular. At photos the room (I had room for 6 female only) looks small but when I entered it was just fine - for some rest/sleep it was just perfect. I had the best roommates (who were volunteering for the hostel) and they were so amazing/respectful that I can not say anything. Glad to meet them and glad to be at this hostel - just felt like home, really. <3

It's quite an old place, doors in the bathrooms don't lock, one of my rooms lock was broken, the rooms were rather cold at night (feb/march), some stuff has troubles communicating in English (or not willing to, hard to say)

Smooth late check in, most of the stuff really nice and open, I could leave my backpack safe in the reception for my days in Gozo, good price, very nice granny :) well equipped kitchen, not too far from the buses and the sea, quite comfortable matresses in beds, every bed has a little lamp, 2 sockets and shelves to keep your night stuff close

Staff did a great job in keeping the place nice and clean, but the facilities could use a bit of an update. Things like door locks, knobs, shower brackets etc, would be really nice if they were fixed properly. Lacking of space in common area and kitchen. Kitchen area is, rightfully, occupied by staff for different tasks half the time. It is not necessarily a bad thing, just a note to my fellow nomads who might also need some productive time or schedule other than sightseeing, this might be something to bear in mind.

1. Nothing that I can think of tbh ! I'm very picky when I write feedback but there was not one thing I didn't like bout Granny's Inn !

One of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in. It felt like a home than a hostel. 1. Location was great, hardly 5-7mins walk to the supermarkets, main street, bus stops, waterfront etc in Sliema City 2. Room was nice and large. Good space for 6 people on 3 bunk beds. Had good sized lockers too. There was also a fridge in the room to store your food. And a sink for hand/face wash, brushing etc 3. A fully equipped kitchen, to make your meals. A free food cabinet for guests to use and/or leave behind anything. 4. There was also a take it/leave it basket for guests to leave their stuff for other guests to use or take. I thought that was a super nice thing 5. Staff were humble, friendly and helpful with anything you asked for. 6. The welcome email that was sent after the booking was done, was super detailed with everything a guest needs to know before and after arrival. 7. The common area in the lobby and on the 2nd floor and the terrace were all very nice common areas rightly set up to facilitate a social atmosphere that a hostel should :)

Grannys Hostel offers adult accommodations both private room and dorm bunk bed settings, at very good value. Each room has common wash basin, personal shelving, lockers, bright cheery windows that open for fresh air, air/con inverter, hangers, reading lights, pillows sheets blanket and bar fridge/freezer to share small perishable items—EZ 3-min walk to Boardwalk, beach, gym facilities, all types of casual cuisine, finer dining, steps to TowerRoad, Spinola, all bus routes includg no-transfers reqrd to n from Valletta Airport, generous common sized kitchen, all amenities avlbl. IMHO: 10/10

Super minor issue but would be nice to add sun umbrellas at the roof garden Just manage your expectations. The price is low therefore facilitates are good but basic. I was cool with it , but don't expect for example boutique hoste type ofl experience.

-Great roof garden - Good if you need to work remotely a day or two. Fast WiFi even on roof garden! - Good central location and near the beach - very friendly owner - Apart of normal guests they do accept some volunteers, which adds to community vibe of the place - air conditioning

The triple beds in girls room don't have enough space to sit at all, and it is really unconformable to getup the bed mainly if you are in the middle bed. The temperature in for the AC should be standard in all the rooms to avoid that the guest are turning low the temperature constantly. One of the guys in the room 2 was changing the temperature to 21 degrees and it was really cold and now I'm suffering with a strong flue.

Nice neighborhood and really close to the beach. All the girls, part of the staff were really nice and helpful all the time. The kitchen was complete.

Nothing loved every second.

The staff were excellent, the room was nice and clean and provided enough towels and sheets. Was very happy with the whole experience, lovely building with art all up the wall and other little bits. Location is excellent. Great kitchen set up etc. a lovely little gem of a place to stay :)

Everyone’s pretty quiet and mostly kept to themselves. If you’re heading solo and looking to meet people maybe not the place for you.
