Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyGreat hotel with great facilities. Pool at the 8th floor with sea view and spa with a small gym. Me and my daughter had breakfast included and it was a good selection of food. The location is perfect to move by foot from Sliema to St Julien only 20mins enjoy walking by the sea, there is a Lidl just 8 mins distant and bus station 2 mins by foot, to Valletta or other places. The staff at the reception were very polite. We really enjoyed our stay!!

United KingdomExceptionally comfortable bed Cracking view Plenty of space to put toiletries Good shower The crashing of the waves on the rocks is incessant and on the 7th floor in the teeth of a gale we experienced, it was like being in a wind tunnel. We were quite chilly but the heater worked well. Shower flooded the bathroom. Good choice at breakfast but was barely warm. Staff friendly and efficient particularly where we had an issue it was resolved immediately and pleasantly. Chap offering information for trips and tickets was useful even though his 'discount' made tours slightly more expensive than in town, I'll allow it as we got stuff sorted quickly and easily. Sliema is a lovely port and useful for trips and ferries. Excellent shops. Easy walk once you find the cut throughs. Excellent crepery at top of Tower road about 5mins walk. Avoid tour to Gozo with boat trip around harbours. Wild flowers on Comino were beautiful but you get 1.5 hours in Victoria not the Green bus tour and when a ferry load of tourists land in Victoria on a rainy day they are all just heading for the full cafes! Waste of time.

United KingdomEverything was really good about the hotel. The staff were fantastic with me, The cleanliness was excellent fantastic location. My only negative was that there was a lot of outdoor noise, car doors slamming people talking outside of the hotel, I don't think the hotel can do anything about this, and this could happen no matter where you stayed, as i'm not a light sleeper this wasn't a problem to me. If you are request a room that is higher up the building. 9 out of 10 from me and would definitely stay again.

United KingdomNice hotel, friendly staff. Good location for us, generally pretty quiet through the night. Room was lovely. Only negative was that most of the breakfast options were quite bland - fried options weren’t great either, have never tasted sausages quite like the turkey ones before and never want to again. Hash browns were cold. There were lots of choices, decent selection of fresh fruits, pastries, cereals and breads.

United KingdomThe hotel was cleaned but the bedrooms were not a good standard of cleanliness. Beds not made well. Worktops not whipped down. Tea marks not whipped away. Got told our room was not ready at 3 o’clock would be another 10 min . One hour 15 min later told room was done then had to wait and join the queue of others getting room. We saw all couples been offered a complementary Prosecco but we where not. I think if they had said look your room will be about an hour and a half we would of went out and got a cuppa coffee.
The breakfast was very good .

United KingdomWe didn’t get milk replenished daily in our room but that was a minor issue. Having some charging points in The Old Vic area would be useful for guests waiting to check in or those waiting for onward transport.
Location and friendliness of staff. Very obliging and attentive. Serving staff in the bar were excellent.

CroatiaSauna didn't work one day and didn't work properly the second day, water in the jacuzzi could be cleaner, the elevator was very annoying because it constantly opens and it needs to close 2 times every time, lunch package is a disaster if you miss breakfast (1 very dry sandwich that you can't even eat it, yoghurt, apple and a juice).
Great breakfast, the rooftop pool is awesome although it would be better if it was heated, personal was very kind and helpful, 24/7 reception, good location, close to 2 bus stops.

Greece• The balcony was barely functional, more like a small fragment that could have just been a window. • Every morning from 7 AM, our room filled with strong kitchen smells (frying oil and mixed food), which unfortunately caused nausea and woke me up daily. • While breakfast had variety, the quality was not the highest : supermarket-style cakes, frozen croissants that turned stale when cold, and an espresso machine that couldn’t make a proper cappuccino. • We always had hot water in the evening, but the one time we tried in the morning, there was none—possibly a coincidence, but worth mentioning. • The cleaning staff made a lot of noise early in the morning while working. They often shouted to each other in the corridors and banged the doors, which was quite disruptive from the early hours.
• The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. • The bathroom was also very spacious, which added to the comfort. • There was a safe and plenty of cupboard space, making it easy to store our belongings. • I appreciated the provisions like bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries, which were a nice touch. • Breakfast had a great variety, and the service was impressively fast. • The staff were incredibly kind, always helpful and smiling, which made a great impression. • The location was very good—right on the seafront, offering beautiful views.
