Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandThe building is beautifully renovated, it has great atmosphere and by that you can feel Malta more directly. It is not 5-star hotel that everywhere looks the same but more immersive experience ;) The host was very open and responsive, he suggested what might be interesting and patiently answered to all our questions, even though we had many :D :)

MaltaThere's really nothing negative to say here.
Everything was great for what we required of a two day visit to Gozo. Central to Nadur if that's where you need to be, nice quiet street, very cute looking from the outside. Walk in and appreciate the restoration of this multi-hundred year old accommodation. Rodrick is a lovely host, breakfast is superbly presented, and the room along with the house are a really pleasant experience all round. Must add - the little touches for the Valentines Day weekend we're also cute and generous. From the bed decoration to the dining room table cloth, food presentation etc, well done!

SwitzerlandIf you're traveling in Winter, the AC also functions as your heater, but it doesn't work that well as a heater. There isn't enough warm water for two people to wash their body and (longish) hair one after another.
Breakfast made by scratch by the hosts. Very lovely attention to detail. The farmhouse is the best place to experience a traditional building in Gozo. Near the villages main square and the cathedral. There is a fridge in the common area for you to use.

PortugalMost beautiful and authentic house. The pictures on booking don't reflect it at all so I recommend the owner to renew the profile because this place is so worth to stay and it would be a pitty to be missed :)

NetherlandsThe church is very close by, and the bell rings very early. So maybe hard to fall asleep after
Everything in this B&B was amazing! The owner was very friendly and helpful, his prepared breakfast was an art piece, the house and the room was like from a movie! We had breakfast in the terrace and has such a pretty garden! The location is amazing, easy access from ferry and very beautiful little town. Our stay there was one of the best experience we ever had while traveling! Thank you!

United StatesWe loved everything!
We had such a very comfortable stay! 100% recommend this place. The host was so warm and welcoming, giving us a small historical overview of the house. The room was charming, comfortable, clean. The breakfast was delicious and prepared with care. We had a nice time drinking local wine in the yard after dark. 3 minor things to keep in mind: 1) The shower is small, so if you're very tall or very large it will be awkward. 2) Breakfast was delicious and just enough food but not a buffet. You have to choose your option by 6pm the evening before. 3) If you have a lot of luggage, there isn't a lot of space in the room to lay out your bags. None of these were an issue for us, just wanted to mention it in case you're very tall, extra hungry, or travel with many suitcases.

What a lovely hard working couple who have made a magical transformation of the farmhouse.Beautiful detail and decor. We loved hearing about its history. The food and hospitality was exceptional. Just around the corner from the main square so close to bus stops, eateries and shops. The bells did wake us early but we had just stayed in another village and had got used to them.We could of stayed our whole two weeks vacation there as we loved it so much .The little jar of sea salt as a parting gift was such a lovely surprise

United KingdomThis place is a delight ...from the welcome tour by the friendly owner to the small details in the room and at breakfast . The house itself has been sympathetically restored/refurbished with stone walls, encaustic tile floors , lots of period features and furniture, big metal keys . Locally produced wines are showcased in the rooms and there's a well stocked help yourself coffee/tea area in the main lounge . Breakfast is served in an inner courtyard and choice made the night before (I liked this system as reduces food waste and works well for a small B&Bs efficiency and costs) . Host communicated well before and during stay , and offered advice , tips and trips in an unobtrusive way . Location good for exploring Gozo with street parking nearby . There are cafes and restaurants around the town square a minute away (the church is worth a look inside too) . Definitely recommend this B&B for its " Gozo traditional hospitality"
