There was a slight smell of humidity in the downstairs (female) room, and the bathroom showed some signs of age.

The breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety for the price. The reception staff were extremely kind, helpful, and friendly. The outdoor area with the pool was beautiful, and the kitchen and sitting room were super clean, featuring a lovely design and charming paintings.

Where do I start. This place is absolutely the best hostel on the island. I have tried many places and they were all a nightmare. I love how friendly the staff is. And all the wonderful people I have met here. Plus the free breakfast was exquisite. Everything in this facility is super clean. The view in the front of the hostel is a one of a kind. And to top it off there is a pool in the backyard which is super relaxing. And a garden at the bottom with two comfortable hammocks and lovely citrus trees which smells amazing. It was a unforgettable Experience to stay at the Follow the Sun Hostel. I met so many wonderful people from all over the world. The staff of the hostel is also very nice & even funny. There where a lot of special moments I will remember for a long time. From the balcony you could see the Sea. Thank you all for making this time so special! ✨

Such a great place!! Big shout out to the staff, especially Stefan who made us feel so welcome and at home! Great location, beautiful kitchen area and terrace / chill places, easy to meet people and a great free breakfast- what more could you want?!

Stayed 1 night, would like to stay again. - Other guests were loud after the start of quiet hour in the corridor. Apparently children (teenagers) are allowed into a hostel, as it seemed, unsupervised and they were super unthoughtful of others. It would be nice if there was anyone to supervise that they would not be barking at night. + Hostel exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was fantastic, so as fantastic location, good staff. Lively hostel which gave me summer vibes as it was in nature, could hear cocks in the morning and even see the see. It was clean and organised, lots of lingering spaces outside and inside.

They changed price higher than before. Two times higher than month ago. Of course, the Owner wants to earn in good season summers. Some weak hotels as Europa hotel in Malta changed price higher 3 times.They have not windows in many rooms and an air is not going.

Hostel is in very nice nature place all very green around.We can to see a Sea. I like nature here a lot of birds , wild cats , chicken and wild Roosters singing from 3 am. The breakfast is very good .

Roosters nearby make a racket every morning, and on public transport it is somewhat of a pain to get to.

Breakfast was a nice addition. Room was pretty comfy and area felt safe.

This is the best place to stay in Malta if you'd like to enjoy beautiful sea views and meet amazing people! The staff is so nice and the place is clean and on a good location. Overall, this is by far the best hostel I've visited! You should definitely check it out!

Pros: service, common areas, location. Overall a good stay, although did not spend much time there. Cons: wifi did not work at all or only for some ppl. I saw this issue been raised in some reviews so defs pretty well known for everybody, big drawback tbh. The mattress I slept on was in very rough shape. Neutral: Seemingly several ppl were long term guests

We got in touch to ask about dairy-free options for the breakfast and, although we knew there would be limited options, we were told there would be plant-based milk available but unfortunately there wasn't. Cereal and water isn't very tasty! It's a small thing and hasn't put us off coming to stay again but would appreciate having the option next time. Thanks!

WiFi was mixed and could. Have done with a bar or some shared activities, not the easiest place to meet other solo travellers. Perfect for group travel though.

The "band" of roosters in the neigherhood they tend to wake you up early in the morning 😱😅😂🤣😂😂 Personally I started to use ear-plugs - it solved the problem. There is really nothing I could put here and my stay was trully great 👌👌

It was great (32nights) holiday! Very professional but also nice people work there👌 Breakfast is exceptional, always fresh and you can eat as much as you want. There is plenty to choose from! During my stay there were new kitchen appliances added to already well equipped ped kitchen. Things like blender, rice cooker ect. The organization or food storage is great. You can cook and bake if you wish. The beds are solid and stable with curtains that give you privacy. To my surprise they change bed linens and towels quite often 💥 There is plenty of common space to socialize but also cozy spots for some solitude if you need it ☮😎 In case of issue hostel employees will provide solutions. Close to bus stops, stores, cafes and restaurants.
