Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainNo sound proofing, so a hotel full of kids and students meant I was being woken up 4 times a night by rowdiness and shouting. You HAVE to pay for a superior room on a top floor for a comfortable bed and a quieter experience. Cooked breakfast included are ice cold. This is easy to remedy if you heat the plates.
By far the best thing were the staff. In particular Sylvio on the front desk who rescued my trip and did whatever he could for me, going the extra 5 miles. Sylvio is an Asset to this hotel. Location is also excellent for me for work.

United KingdomI encountered several issues during my stay. The air conditioning in the room was not functioning well and needs replacement. The blanket provided was not in good condition, and the hotel signage was difficult to see at night, making it hard to locate. Additionally, the hotel lockers need replacement, and overall, the amenities are a bit outdated and would benefit from renovation.
The hotel's location was excellent

SloveniaBreakfast was based on English breakfast, limited selection of food. Not sure if it was just my luck, but no matter what time I arrived for breakfast, I barely got a table.
The hotel is located at a busy part of the shore, good connection to other parts of the city (ferry to Valletta is 5 min walk away). Room was small, but nothing missing. Bed was very comfortable, mattress was very firm (which I liked).

HungaryThe buffet breakfast was served by the staff, you cannot pick the food, they portioned it like in a school summer camp. Restaurant staff were rude, not really client friendly. Absolutely not 4* level. The furniture and style was old fashioned, needs a reconstruction.
Location, view from the room is amazing to Valletta and the port. All bus stops are nearby. Daily cleaning and nice housekeepers and receptionists. Our transfer was canceled accidentally but the reservation department helped us correctly.

PolandThe rest is so so- very poor breakfast and they seem like they stopped themselves in pandemic- buffet behind the plastic wall. Scrambled eggs made of powder. There is no electric kettle in the room. Chairs at the balcony dirty with dust. The hotel doesn’t want to give an invoice if the booking was done by booking.com
The best is the location.

United KingdomAs above - late cleaning of rooms. Eggs. The roof top bar was not open. Considering it was March, this is perhaps understandable, but there is a magnificient view from the balcony up there, even if it is too cold to use the pool.
The room was OK and the bed comfortable. The cleanliness was OK eventually, but often not done until late in the day, which was sometimes inconvenient. Breakfast OK, but not as good as it had been on my previous visits ( I have been several times now). Eggs scrambled only, unless a special request is made for fried, etc., and also scrambled eggs go cold too quicly when put on unwarmed plates.

RomaniaThere were enough power plugs for charging mobile devices. However, the hotel needs an upgrade, as many pieces of furniture have started to deteriorate
We recently had the pleasure of staying at the seafront hotel situated in the heart of Malta's coastal resort of Sliema, and we would rate my experience 8/10. The hotel's location is outstanding, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the vibrant surroundings. The staff was friendly, and the service was generally excellent. The hotel's popularity is well-deserved, considering its prime location and amenities. While there were a few minor areas where improvements could be made, such as in-room facilities, my overall stay was enjoyable and memorable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta.

United KingdomThe double room without view was dire - it was dark ( though spacious ) and looked out at the shaft of the hotel i.e. a concrete wall about 4 metres away with window opposite. Not worth the money. The air conditioning in the double with sea view did not work properly. We had to ask for a fan after the first night ( which they did bring ). The quality of the breakfast was poor. It looked inviting ( a full English ) but all the items were not good at all. The staff at the hotel did not have the basic knowledge of where the bus stopped to go to Valetta, or information about transport to Mdina etc.
The double room with seaview was lovely. The location was very good - near the shops and restaurants and ferry back to Valetta.

AustraliaThe bed was horrendous. So hard, thin and uncomfortable. The hotel room and the whole hotel need a refurb. The balcony door was so hard to open and it locked itself with me out on the balcony. The breakfast was the worst I have had. Served for you from behind the Perspex- the sausages were like rubber, the bacon like shoe leather and the scrambled eggs disgusting. Same every day. I skipped it. The pool area is run down and there is no view from the pool loungers.
The location was great. Close to Ponsonby bus stop and close to the ferry departures. It had a magnificent view from the balcony and from Level 7 where the pool is located. But cafe tables get the view not the pool loungers. 2 for 1 cocktails at happy hour 5-7pm.
