Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNo washing machine despite being on the facility list. Mattress on single bed not the best.
Location excellent, supermarket close by, quiet local street, traditional architecture. Lots of space inside. Nice courtyard to sit in and balcony as well. Cooking and kitchen facilities good. Reasonable price Ubers to Valetta and other locations.

SloveniaDrivers in Malta use car horns a lot - simply to warn pedestrians and other cars of their presence. The house is not on a very busy street, but still busy enough to get some noise in the morning. We didn't really use the garden - nor did we open the doors - because of mosquitos. The last day we discovered something that could be a net to put over the doors.
A very interesting apartment. Everything clean, comfortable. Location is reasonably good - close to the bus stop, and buses are frequent enough. I kind of liked the idea that it is impossible to remember which of the light switches controls which light in which part of the apartment. It was fun, so I'm adding it to this section. Some of my companions would put it in the section below. :)

RomaniaWater pressure was bit low, room facing the street can be noisy and need to be careful with the stairs, as they are built in with a dent somehow, better to hold the railing at all times, especially for kids or elders. But none of these were really issues for us, the place and the value for money is excellent.
Beautiful home with a wonderful backyard. Very spacious, great design and furnishing. Hosts were really nice and always quick to reply. They helped us store our luggage on the last day of the departure. The place exceeded our expectations. Very clean and walking distance to Tarxien Temple. About 15min drive to Valleta, but Ubers are very convenient and easy to find. Amazing restaurant few minutes away by foot which also delivers. Will come again and definitely recommend the place.

MaltaThere was no washing machine available. A bit hard especially if you are staying long.
It is characteristic of Malta but also modern, spacious. Bedrooms are huge and comfortable. Located very near to the centre, a supermarket, shops and bus stops…. Perfect place to stay on a holiday

FranceTwo things: there needs to be more equipment in the kitchen. The rest of the house is great but the kitchen needs more utensils, oven dishes, cutlery, useful things etc. This is probably because it's a new rental property and not everything is ready. Secondly, we were surprised to find one of the three bedrooms locked when we arrived, despite having searched for and reserved a 3 bedroom house. This problem was VERY quickly resolved by the management company even late in the evening when we arrived. Thank you.
Lovely spacious house, nice courtyard out the back. Good location with easy, free parking. Nice décor in the house and comfortable beds. Very clean. Thorough communication by the management company before, during and after the stay.

MaltaAircon/heating only in the bedrooms. The main problem was safety. The sweeping and uneven stairs were only partially protected by a banister. Further up, the open stairs were unnerving and the two corner steps were glass. This glass may well have been tempered but it looked thin and was on metal frame. Some yellow twine had been haphazardly threaded around the wide gap in the banister on this, the highest floor. The stairs are only suitable for fit and able persons- there is no shower/bath/bed on the ground floor. I would not be comfortable with young children in this home and I would not be keen to indulge in more than one glass of wine before attempting these stairs up or down. Water pressure was very low.
The house was well decorated with every appliance needed and enough beds and seats for six people (though we were only 2). Two bathrooms and a downstairs toilet plus a lovely outside space. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was very clean.
