It's a really interesting place, it has a great atmosphere and the people are very friendly, the facilities were adequate for my trip I really have no complaints and I will surely return here for my next stay

Bring a pair of noise cancelling headphones for those neighbours who are snoring or talking on the phone all night

Unusual bathroom shape on which the bathroom seats didn't fit. €1 a day to rent a towel.

it was raining a lot when i was there so the hang out areas were minimal inside - soap in the bedroom sink would be great

They added an eco-tax of 0.5 Euros per night which wasn't clearly visible when booking. They could state in a message to bring 20 Euros in cash as key deposit.

I spent 4 days, I guess it's too much party hostel for my taste - in the evening no quiet place to eat dinner or talk with somebody. I did small washing myself, but there was no place to dry clothes, other than pay 6 eur for drier.

I liked the staff available in almost any time. Also that it's very clean, and there was personal light at each bed. Location is great.

Unfortunately the access door to the balcony gives access to the other room and when opened, smoke from smokers enters the room and although the room is female, it allowed an unpleasant incident (a guy came in and argued with a girl, maybe something can be done about it) I never use a hostel kitchen, so the size of the kitchen (small) was indifferent to me, however, a little renovation would be good, because despite the staff's noticeable commitment to keeping it clean, it doesn't look clean

It's not something about the hostel, but weed is legal in Malta and the whole room often smelled because someone was grinding it at night. Secondly, do be aware that even though you label food with your name, people might take it. My slippers also got stolen, so make use of the locker under your bed!! My only bad point about the hostel is the kitchen. It's old and the equipment could use an upgrade. Not every gas stove plate worked.

I stayed there as a solo traveller for 3 night and had a good time here. For the price you pay, it's good. The location is great, a 10min walk to Sliema and a wide range of busses to take. If you like partying, it's very close to the clubbing area. The common area is nice and with good weather the terrace is a plus. Friendly staff and the people staying there were great, even though no one was really my age surprisingly (19).

There is only one refrigerator. Access to the Freezer is not allowed. You cannot cook on the stove earlier than 08:00 - 08:30. Access to the terrace is restricted between 04:00 and until someone comes to open it... 07:00-08:00. The individual light in the bed area is non-functional

Staffs didn't know what dates the tour was. We booked the tour, paid for it and waited at the meeting point for a while but no one showed up so we went back to reception and found out there was no tour that day. And check-in is from 14:00, but although I arrived at 13:30, there was a line and I was able to check in at 16:00. There was only one receptionist and I thought it took too long.

Kitchen is too small for that many capacity of guests. And a lot of guests are not very good at cleaning after themselves 🙈😁

There is a big balcony with bar and parties during night. So if you like good time during nights it's a perfect hostel but if you want to sleep it's also OK because I couldn't hear anything from room. I really like art on hostel walls.

Our room needed to be renovated a while ago, which is not a big deal for a one night, but I can't imagine staying there longer. Shared bathrooms & toilets were not keept on level that we would expect. Common spaces are slightly let down. In the kitchen one is expecting a lot a cutlery & stuff for cooking/ eating - but there's only a few of it, moreover in rather poor condition.

I used to like this hostel a few years back; cool place with very good vibes. Although that time I stayed always in dorms. I like idea, design and good vibes of this busy place. This is a place for a budget backpacker.
