Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaI expected more facilities and quality for the price. The swimming pool on the rooftop is just a giant bathtub, was quite misleading in the description.
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms.

GermanyMy recent stay at this hotel in St. Julian's left a positive impression overall. However, it's worth noting a couple of minor critiques to provide a well-rounded review. Our room, although beautifully appointed and comfortable, had one drawback. There was a connecting door to the adjacent room, which, while securely locked, did impact our sense of privacy. We could hear every sound and conversation from the neighboring couple, which was less than ideal. Another minor concern was the noise level at night, which is somewhat to be expected in an area known for its nightlife. The hotel is in a lively part of town, and as a result, there was some late-night revelry. However, this was mostly resolved by simply closing the balcony door, which effectively dampened most of the outside noise.
Our recent stay at this apartment in St. Julian's left me absolutely thrilled, and I can't say enough about how satisfied I am with the experience. From start to finish, this accommodation exceeded my expectations in every way. First and foremost, I have to commend the receptionists at this establishment. Never in my life have I encountered such a friendly, courteous, and efficient team. Whether it was the morning shift or the two receptionists on the afternoon-night shift, their warm hospitality made me feel truly welcome. Their professionalism was remarkable and set the tone for an outstanding stay. The hotel itself was not only impeccably clean but also brand new, as it has recently opened its doors to guests. While there were a few minor details that the manager was still working on, it was evident that the commitment to excellence was at the forefront. I have no doubt that as time goes on, they will continue to enhance the guest experience. One standout feature of the hotel, in our opinion, was the rooftop pool. With a bar at your service and breathtaking views, it quickly became a favorite spot during our stay. Whether it was basking in the sun or enjoying a refreshing cocktail while taking in the scenery, it added an extra layer of luxury to our time at the hotel. The combination of these exceptional elements - the welcoming and efficient staff, the cleanliness, and the promising newness of the hotel - made our stay in St. Julian's truly memorable.

New ZealandWhen we were there, the hotel was still getting finished, so the pool was not opened and it felt like it needed a few finishing touches. I think those would've been finished within a couple of weeks tho.
The staff were lovely and the location was great. Room was very comfortable and perfect for a holiday getaway.

United KingdomThe sound proofing isn’t great. Had some problems with the shower, as the water temperature was never great. Not the cleanest part of the city, but not their fault.
Nice location, very close to the city centre, with all needed amenities in the area. The staff was really nice, had helped us to move from a room to another because of an issue we had with the sound proofing.

PolandEven though we booked a room with a balcony we were checked into a room without a balcony and the room seemed smaller compared to the pictures.
The location was very good and accessible. Ms.Alma at the reception was very helpful and kind. The room was overall comfortable.

RomaniaThe hotel had a general issue with the running water which couldn't be fixed in 4h. They offered to change my room with another one available in the 3 hotels of the same group in the area only when I decided to leave at 9.30PM. Poor customer service above the poor management of a crisis situation.

NetherlandsThe pool was small en very cold. We also had some problems with personel, but it got figured out. Parking is a real pain. The parking garage is near by but cost you 13 euros per day. There was a nespresso machine and tea bags, but no teamaker.
The location is fine, you can walk to the Harbour within 5 minutes. The rooms and especially the bathroom is very spacious with the king rooms.

ItalyThe balcony was very small, so not exactly a place to sit comfortably if that's what you're looking for.
A really convenient and comfortable stay right in the middle of St Julian's with pubs, bars and restaurants a few steps away. And a bus stop around the corner to get to Sliema and Valletta and the airport. The staff were so polite and friendly and the cleaning staff were so accommodating coming later in the day if we had a late morning. Clean towels and extra coffee pods everyday.

FinlandThe shower water always flow to the bedroom which makes the floor wet and slippery which is a little bit dangerous. And in that area, the sidewalk is so narrow. It is dangerous.

United KingdomBreakfast choice was acceptable but could have been wider. Rooftop area much smaller than pics made out (taken by drone?), and noise during day at that level from nearby building sites.
Location very good for where and how we needed to explore. Yet quiet at night. Hotel not too large.

ArgentinaThese are small things but I think could help to Make a better stay. The rooms are separated by a door so you listen Everything what the other guest talk, do, listen etc. If you want to eat eggs for breakfast you have to make them yourself. This implies that you have to wait 10 minutes, and then peel them hot, your hands will burn anyway.
The Staff and the location were the best! the staff is so kindly!
