The reliability of the Wi-Fi was hugely dissapointing for a digital nomad room though. Many nights I had to share hot-spot from the phone, as wi-fi was not working. Pretty noisy during the night. But that is to expect when you stay right in the center of St. Julians though.

We stayed for a week in the Digital Nomad room. Very nice setup, and you have everything you need in the room. The desk/monitor area was great for working. Close to everything in St. Julians and walking distance to Sliema, where you can take the ferry to Valetta.

The breakfast could be better, but maybe we are just too picky. For Malta, it’s actually quite good!

We had an amazing stay at Onyx Malta—it exceeded our expectations! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, shining with cleanliness. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade from a standard room to a luxury studio, which made our stay even more special. The location is also fantastic, close to everything you might need. We could say so much more, and all of it would be positive! Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again.

No lift from car park to reception level so get ready for a gym workout if you park first. Advice you to park at entrance first in the loading bay, take luggage out before parking.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were given a free upgrade and the checking process was efficiently carried out quickly. Hemant Kimar assisted my spouse carrying her suitcase from the car park which is in the basement as there is no access to a lift from the car park to the reception level. He also provided directions to some local places when requested. The room is clean, well laid out, and has enough amenities to make the time here comfortable. The bathroom is quite nice and large enough so one doesn't feel claustrophobic. Lighting is more than adequate with controls nicely located. Our room includes a small office space with a monitor that can be connected as a second screen.

I stuggle to sleep with noise and the location was not far from a clubbing area for younger people. I just found it too loud even with the patio doors closed. But my wife sleep like a log. I will take ear plugs next time. Not the hotels fault.

Ideal location for our trip. friendly staff and breakfast provided was good and something for everyone. We will stay again there next year.

Only few bits could be better.. during the stayover service housekeeping team didn’t hoover/clean the floor… got some sand from beach left. Also they forgot to replace the hand towels and bathmat.

We loved our stay at Onyx Hotel. We got an early check in and late check out. The staff were kind. The bed and pillows were comfy and good bath amenities. The breakfast was superb, good quality and varied. The location was amazing.. few minutes walking from everything in St Julian’s.

Sometimes there was a problem with the Internet connection. Nothing too serious, but it was annoying.

Value for money is superb. Everything was clean, and the breakfast was decent. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Something like a very small wardrobe/dresser or a least nightstand with doors would help. I didn't want to store small personal things and underwear on the table or open shelves, so used safe and fridge for that :)

Beautiful building, beautiful room, very clean and cozy. The location is very convenient. Everything like cafés, supermarket, kiosks, bus stops are at hand. The stuff is friendly and hospitable. I will definitely return to this hotel again. I strongly recommend this hotel for everyone.
