    Nothing!

The staff were so friendly, welcoming and professional. The hotel was clean and the facilities were good. The hotel also fixed our buggy which had broken just before our arrival to the hotel and they loaned us another buggy for our stay. We were very impressed with that as we really needed a buggy for our baby! I would highly recommend this hotel to other families

The pillows are the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on, the breakfast was big and varied but it was terrible quality, the sausages were cheap and nasty the scrambled eggs were watery the woman frying the eggs couldn't fry a egg properly, they were running out of everything and taking ages to restock it which made breakfast longer than it needed to be. There was an older guy in charge trying his best to organise, but the servers seemed extremely inexperienced. I'm not sure if this is a five-star hotel, but it felt like a 3-star hotel.. we came here from another hotel named the Barcelo which was much better quality everything.

Check-in was easy. It wasn't too far from St Julian centre and has a decent view of the sea. Rooms felt aged but cleaners did a good job.

The worst room I have ever booked in my life. It is very small. There is no drinkable water. Early in the morning, someone was inside with me. Luckily, I was not sleeping. I think he is an employee there.

Old and ugly, swimming pool dirty, loud, bed like rock, room service boring, the worst Radison breakfast I have ever had. This is not Radison Blue standard and the hotel should lose its name.

The plug sockets in the room were few and far between. We are used to plugging in chargers so we can charge our phones at night and use them as alarm clocks in the morning. This was not possible as the power sockets by the bed were non standard ‘miniature 3 pin’ plugs so were useless to us. The kettle in the room came with European 2 pin plug, but and didn’t fit any plug sockets. The staff supplied us with an adapter and extension lead so we could make tea!

The room was lovely and large. We had 3 in the room and the sofa bed was in its own section of the room. The swimming pools were lovely and we enjoyed the water slide. It was nice to be able to swim in the sea from the hotel too.

Room: Old interiors and misplaced furnitures, like a giant lamp blocking in front of the mirror. Telly is set on the corner of the room, making it uncomfortable to watch. No Netflix/YouTube option. Bathroom: a bath tub, with low water pressure. Towels were not soft on the skin, in fact harsh. Limited supply of toiletries, ofcourse it can be requested. Had no vanity kit ** all of these are not necessarily a bad thing; only a disappointment. The actual worst of all is without a warning, the hotel staff marching into my room (2 hours after I checked in) while I was undressed, yep that was unexpected, and shocking for a 5-star. Didn’t feel safe at all. From then on, I was always double locking the door and had to put the DND sign on. Our room was not cleaned regularly, which means the bed was not made and toiletries weren’t refilled. 4-star vibe

Nice location, by the sea. Has cafes, & bistros a few blocks from the hotel. St. Julian’s can be reached by walk along the coast. The sauna was nice. The indoor pool floor wasn’t clean on the far end. Fitness room has a great view of the sea though OK for the price

Cleanliness is just poor. Floor of our level has not been vacuumod for a week (familiar breadcrumbs saying hi to us every day). We had a dirty curtain, floor was so worn that it seemed unreal, minibar was empty and showerhead needed to be replaced because it was letting water out everywhere. Terrace has never been cleaned. Spa is a joke, particularly compared to the size of the hotel. There is a small sauna which has broken bench. Sometimes clean towels usually placed out were just not available. Overall the place is rundown. Staff is kind but some of them lacked expertise. Food of the main restaurant was pathetic particularly for the price. Just avoid it.

Staff was kind, in particular breakfast service and front desk. Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious. Breakfast offer has been wide and good quality.

Room: The room was "tired" and the mattress quite hard, I woke with a bad back after the first night, though got used to the mattress thereafter . The bath water pressure was very low, and it took a very long time to have sufficient water to bathe, even for me—I don't use much water in a bath. Check-in: Took ages and despite our making it clear we would pay separately, it was insisted we used one credit card as security and for additional hotel expenses during the stay. Bar: Slow service despite not being busy - examples: one time we could see our drinks sitting on the bar waiting to be brought to us, another time they didn't have the wine and were gone ages to get a couple of bottles (apparently only from the restaurant literally in the next room). Generally slow each time, and it lacked atmosphere too. Restaurant: Inflexible process. I said I preferred to have a drink on the terrace (to which there was a door from the restaurant first and at which some diners took their dinner) prior to eating inside. I was told I couldn't do so and would need to go next door to the bar and order there and drink outside, then come back to the restaurant to eat! Despite this as mentioned some people actually ate their dinner out there and were served by the restaurant!

Breakfast: Staff very pleasant, food usual hotel fare, quick to get coffee and tea served at the table. Pool bar: Friendly Reception and concierge staff friendly. Housekeeping: Room was very clean.

Check-out was terrible. 5min before noon some lady from reception started to call me & asking to leave the room. She was rude & completely impolite. I would say I was kicked out of the hotel.

Check-in was great. Friendly & fast (I received the room earlier). Ronald was also very helpful. Towels & bed clothes are new & fresh. Hairdryer is good as well. Seaview from the balcony was amazing.

The hotel is very dated, I can imagine staying here 10+ years ago would have been 10/10 but it seems that all the facilities were quite aged and photos haven't been updated on booking.com. eg. There is no bar in the main pool anymore and it's been filled in. The rooms were nice, still had a luxury feeling but the beds were horribly uncomfortable, the pillows were so thin we had to ask for 2 more and they also don't provide a flat sheet on the beds. The worst part was that they turn the AC off at night so despite having the balcony door open we were so hot and stuffy and didn't sleep well any night we stayed here. I wouldn't recommend staying here if it's a special occasion!

The view of the sea and pool was stunning and the hotel in its day would have been so luxurious. Nice pool facilities and sauna and great that staff were always present to assist with anything. The breakfast was pretty nice too, a lot to choose from.

The rooms were Very out dated, not very aesthetically pleasing, felt quite run down in the rooms, restaurants and spa / would love to see them get renovated Spa wasn’t very ambient, I had a couples massage, lots of heavy breathing and coughing from the staff which I guess can’t be helped but there wasn’t any atmosphere with gorgeous spa smells or ambient lighting, felt quite basic. The pool was pure ice cold, to the point it felt like an ice bath, which is a shame Very limited with drink and snack choices In my room there were dirty towels when I arrived and the bin didn’t get changed since being there It was very very noisy. Woke up to pure banging at 8am which wasn’t pleasant as the banging was so loud it made me wake up in a panic, otherwise on the other nights lots of door banging, cleaning and overall construction noise which was unfortunate The bathroom was quite a strange one with a wet room style flooding the floor each time you showered - on one morning there was no cold water just pure boiling water to shower with which wasn’t pleasant

The location with the sea view at the pool area is beautiful The tv was really easy to use and easy to connect to your phone to watch YouTube which was lovely The bridge restaurant was okay - Looks wise not very aesthetic but food was good Bed was okay

The restaurants didn’t reflect the 5 stars the hotel have. They forgot drinks to the meals every time we ordered food and it took almost 1 hour to get meals. Quality of food were also not the best. We specifically booked a room with view instead we got a third floor room with a view of a parking space. Definitely not worth the price tag. The shower was leaking and the AC was noisy and also leaking. There was a lot of mold on the walls around the AC. Fridge didn’t work.

The staff was super friendly. The hotel was beautiful although it needs renovation.

They insist on prepaying the entire stay before you check in. The hotel is in a need of redecoration and some refurbishment. Most “sea view” rooms do not actually have a proper sea view (60-80% obstruction).

Excellent waterfront location. Good size rooms. Comfortable bed. Good food in the Bistro. Good breakfast. Outdoor amenities are good.
