Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomLike - friendly staff in the kitchen, house keeping etc. - everything was clean - tissue and towels replenished daily - any issues, were addressed within good time - infinity pool really pretty - breakfast - lovely (it is the same daily) - itola was very helpful - lifts work and are fast - nice breakfast area - lovely view Dislike - reception staff not very friendly/ chatty compared to other staff in the hotel. - family time in the heated pool is very restricted. - the location. You aren’t close to anything and can’t walk to any corner shops etc. - it is a smart tv which allows phone mirroring. But when I asked staff for help they advised you need a HDMI cable. - the room was chilly on an evening and when I asked if staff could turn up the heating they said it wasn’t possible ( he did offer a blanket though which was nice) - on the first night the noise levels from the room below was terrible. I could hear every conversation. They were banging and clanging and arguing. However, when I called reception they addressed it straight away.

MaltaThe check-in was a slow process with some visitors and one of the receptionist had no idea on the procedure on how to book the tennis court.
The family suite on the 6th floor facing country views was larger than expected which suites our family of four. The sofa bed was comfortable for the kids. The breakfast choice was ample with Full English breakfast and Continental available in addition to other touches like local Pastizzi. Indoor pool was clean, we enjoyed our time there and on the tennis court which is well mantained (with the exceptions of the fence).

United KingdomStaff were excellent; very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are stated on Booking.com as soundproofed but we could hear people walking and chairs scraping above us, so not sure that’s accurate. Bought a 7 day bus card which was good value and a fun way to get around!

Malta- No face cloths provided in the bathrooms which I was expecting at a 4 star hotel considering towels are provided and I have been to the hotel before a few years ago and they used to provide them. - No bath robes or slippers provided unless asked for at the Spa which cannot be taken to the hotel rooms (before they used to give them there). - Indoor pool was very cold on one of the days we went that you cannot swim for a long time.
- Room with sea view was very nice. - Bed was very comfortable. - Quiet area. - Breakfast Buffett with delicious food. - Relaxing indoor pool area with limited hours for children (more quiet time) with pre-booking since space is limited to be enjoyed. - Relaxing massage provided by the hotel spa which was very efficient. - Delicious food at Vecchia Napoli (pre-booking required during busy weekend).

MaltaEverything was perfect except the man who rammed he’s chair into my 8 year old on her birthday day as we were passing to get breakfast and told me to say sorry or he will call the police. When I mentioned it to a member of your staff just apologized for it and there was nothing else he could do. The man is very lucky it was my daughter’s birthday or he would have been calling the police for more than a sorry 😊 And the staff failed to tell us over the phone it is 1 hour in the pool each booking and as we checked out at the same time we booked in to swim. My daughter for her birthday got 20 minutes in the pool. Very unfair. And when I mentioned it, he pointed to the sign on the desk. Well I didn’t get to read the sign as I made the call and booking from our room. Communication is key some staff need to realize. Other than those 2 mishaps happening. Everything else was very beautiful and my daughter loved the hotel room, the food was perfect and the staff were friendly from beginning to end. I would definitely stay again though 😊

MaltaThe indoor pool was crowded even though with pre booking. The zumba class though a good idea, for those like me who escape to some peace & quiet from their busy schedule, was a put off as obviously the music was loud. I suggest an allocated time would be a better option. Another thing I suggest that when booking at this hotel an option to upgrade to half board might be more attractive.
The ambience of the hotel is nice and relaxing. The staff really helpful and welcoming. The bedrooms big and spacious. It's comfortable 😌 The breakfast & dinner buffet excellent with a great variety of food to choose from. They even served Maltese pastizzi for breakfast! Overall the our stay was satisfactory.

PolandBUT - the food (although it was nice mostly) was the same for breakfast everyday. One time, some staff member (manager I guess by the suit) stormed into our room (we had the ‚do not disturb’ badge on the door) opening it with the staff card and asking why are we there… i talked to the front desk and they said it was a mistake, he messed up the room number, but still… come on, that should happen at all! It’s not acceptable, especially when you travel by yourself! I would have a heart attack. Also, showers would need some refresh in the beat future.
We really loved the design of the hotel. The room was spacious, it had reeeally comfortable bed. The staff was polite and helpful. The location - perfect, away from the crowded city but with the sea view and so close if you want to enjoy the nightlife as well. The indoor pool is enough, there can be 24 People hanging out at once. It was really nice!
