Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenI did not liked the bathroom because it was too small the showering side and the water cames the other side of the bathroom when your showering.
I liked the location of the hotell because your can get easily the bus stop and it is near the beach. Your will not have a problem getting the bus because it comes every hour.

United KingdomI rented a large room which contained sleeping for three with two lumpy pillows, and one plastic chair . There was a small fridge and an electric kettle , but after that you’re on your own . The shower wall fixing was broken and so showering was a one-handed affair . Operation of the toilet was iffy too ; the toilet cistern would often not refill spontaneously but it did start if you ran a little water into the hand basin . The fitting of one of the bedside wall lights was broken and dangling . That breakfast is not included in the price of the room is odd . The ironing board cover was ripped with the disintegrating old padding underneath spilling onto the ironing board’s surface — nasty ! This was my 2nd stay here ; I knew what to expect . The feeling remains that it is very basic and expensive for what it is and that if the obvious faults were dealt with , then this guest would be happier .
I love the Sensi’s situation ie very close to excellent swimming . I liked the staff - friendly and always helpful.

UkraineThe bed is a bit short for a European above 175 cm. The Maltese are mostly not tall :) A warning must be written on the front door so that the residents of the hotel hold the door. It claps very loudly, especially at night.
Great location near the sea and sandy beach, close to a natural wonder - St. Peter's Lake with an optical illusion, the best pizza, hamburgers, pasta and wine in the hotel restaurant, friendly staff both in the hotel and in the restaurant, room cleaning and change of towels every day, air-conditioned room and bathroom.

United KingdomWhen you leave the room with the keycard, all electricity goes off and thus the fridge does not stay cool during the day. So after a full day of sightseeing you come back to warm drinks and sour milk.
The room was huge with loads of space to unpack. The air conditioner was a great bonus as it was really hot. The room also had a fridge. The pool is just downstairs and has a restaurant where you can buy breakfast, cocktails and food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a convenience store just around the corner if you want to buy additional water and snacks.

RomaniaThe bathroom door did not close easily, but it was not a problem.
The room was very clean and the staff very nice. The room was cleaned every day, and we had the opportunity to check in even earlier than the scheduled time. The hotel has a clean pool and a restaurant with very good food, especially pizza. It's great !!!! You can have breakfast at a decent price, there are several menu options. Even if the hotel is not extremely modern, it has everything you need for a perfect stay and not to mention that it is a stone's throw from the beach.

United KingdomSome guests were smoking in their rooms the despitethe fact that rooms are all non-smoking and they were not dealt with. Found the shower too small and bit dangerous to use. Some windows could not be closer due to refurbishment issues and room was full of mosquitoes, caused hell of a few nights.
Pool is good thing, restaurants and the beach is close. Their Own restaurant gives 10% off for guests. Staff is helpful. Price was very reasonable, would even call it budget. Room was serviced daily with fresh towels and loo rolls.

United KingdomIt was a surprise to find that breakfast was not included in the price . A kettle was provided but no tea / coffee / sugar / no spoon to stir a drink . It felt a bit like a budget airline where everything was a chargeable extra .

HungaryMaybe you should re-adjust the hot water supply, as it usually changes from cold to too damn hot quite unexpectedly. Anyway, had fun with even this minor problem.
One of the best places I've ever stayed at. Had no high expectations, was completely amazed by the kindness of the staff and the equipment of the hotel (i requested two separate beds and we had one separate bed and a double bed, thank you so much!). Location is pretty cool too (near to the a beautiful St Thomas Bay and to a bus terminal). Has an own restaurant with 10% discount for hotel residents.

This is an excellent place to stay on the east coast of Malta. Slightly out from the centre of town, it is a short stroll to the beach. The rooms are fairly basic, but it is good value for money, the staff are very nice and the Internet connection is good. The restaurant across the other side of the swimming pool is a good place to eat and the beachfront bars down the road are well worth the visit.
