Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI'm perhaps being overly picky here (because our stay was mostly great) but the base of the indoor swimming pool was a bit dangerous, and the cloudy water made it worse because you couldn't see the sharp steps. I grazed my shin bone. The depth should be gently graduated instead. I would prefer the outdoor pool to be heated. Tha sausages at breakfast weren't very nice at all. The shower in the bathroom had quite a weak flow, but it was OK.
Prickly Pear restaurant food was very nice, the prices reasonable; and the staff were excellent; they would go the extra mile to give customer satisfaction. Reception staff were always helpful, courteous, professional and efficient. The beds were very comfortable and our "standard" room was perfectly adequate. The location was excellent, ample shops, restaurants, bus stops nearby. Easily walkable, literally across the road. Other parts of the island easily accessible for just €2 !

LatviaEverything was great!
Everything was great! The room was spacious, the staff really helpful, bar and restaurant at the hotel open even in off season, and the pools were great! There are both outside rooftop pool (not warmed, but we still had a swim :) ), also warmed one inside. We also enjoyed the spa and massage they offer and that was amazing and not expensive. Overall a really, really good deal. Highly recommend!

United KingdomOur only small criticism was about the cooked breakfast buffet - there was a good selection of nice food, but it was only luke warm, whereas we like our food HOT! The plate heater was also out of action, making this even worse.
Everything about the hotel itself was very pleasant. The two pools, sauna and gym were small, but nice. Our room was very large & even had small kitchen facilities, though we only used the fridge. The view from the roof pool was very nice - not so good from lower floors, but you have to expect this as in Malta towns the streets are very narrow & buildings very close together. Good selection of very nearby restaurants if you don't want to dine in the hotel.

HungaryThe room was on the ground floor, we had to be careful with the balcony door for safety.
Absolutely fantastic hotel, very friendly and profesional staff, huge modern room and bathroom, big balcony, very clean, safe deposit box, good WiFi. Varied and plentiful buffet breakfast and dinner. Nice rooftop pool, which we didn't use because of the weather and a great smaller indoor heated pool with sauna and fitness center. Close to public transport, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

United KingdomIn the night, the corridor light was showing through the room door, and the bathroom ventilation was going off in the night, we tried everything to turn it off but nothing seemed to be working. We closed the door and it was a bit quieter, and maybe it stopped working after we fell asleep so nothing too bad! There was also no cutlery or plates in the room, so it’s not too great for people who’d like to stay for a little longer.
The hotel room was amazing, roses on the bed, swan shaped towels and the location is right next to a bus stop. The staff were very helpful with any questions and were very cheerful and happy 😊 Loved the stay, balcony and just about everything about the room, especially the city view!

Czech RepublicWe slept with the balcony door opened and the sounds coming somewhere near the kitcher were kinda disturbing at night. Same with the sound from a device in the corridor. And the "best" part was a baby crying all night next door (which obviously isn't the hotel's fault).
We were happy to visit a four star hotel that we could never afford in the main season as slavic plebs. But seriously - the locality is perfect, the environment is very friendly including the staff. The room was huge compared to where we lived the other days on Malta and
