The Carob Tree exceeded my expectation. It was clean and beautiful. The decor and color was detailed to perfection. The breakfast was fresh and had a lot of variety. Matthew’s recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants were very helpful and on point. The outdoor seating and pool area was quaint and relaxing. We hope to return very soon.

The room is well equipped and cozy. There’s also shared kitchen, coffee machine(better than the one in most of hotels) and refrigerator for guests. Breakfast is more than enough. The best part is the welcoming and helpful host.

Everything was perfect. The room was super clean, the owners are warm, nice, always smiling and they help if you need guidance on the program. Sure It is 1km from victoria but so much worth it because they make yourself feel at home.

Very convenient location, a 15-minute walk to the center, bus connection to the main tourist attractions. Super clean, well equipped rooms and a shared kitchen, a wonderful pool and terrace with sunbeds and comfortable seats in the shade of a carob tree. Very tasty breakfast, fruit, vegetables. Guests can prepare coffee and tea themselves at any time. Drinking water available in the kitchen!!! And above all, very willing, kind and sympathetic hosts ready to help or advise you.

Everything was perfect. The room and the common areas are lovely. The garden and the pool were perfect. The garden is a lovely place to spend time in the evening after a long day. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The city centre is a pleasant walk, there is a shop and bus stop nearby. Matthew & Clementa were wonderful hosts, working to make guests feel comfortable. We got lots of ideas for exploring Gozo. We would highly recommend the Carob Tree.

There is so much to Love and be grateful for in the Carob Tree🤍🤍 🤍First and foremost, our adorable hosts were so friendly, caring, extremely kind and hospitable! 🤍The house itself is a true work of art, style, cozyness and filled with such pure and loving vibe. 🤍Our 'Suite with Terrace' was so gorgeus, very comfortable and with a spacious terrace with a truly beautiful view! 🤍 Breakfast was superb, every single morning, very well thought through and the selection was excellent! 🤍Last, but not least, the location of the house is excellent, nestled in a very quiet area of Victoria, which center is literally 10min walk away.

Nothing, it is all exceptional.

The Carob Tree is a beautiful guest house with only 6 rooms. The communal facilities are exceptional, every little detail has been thought of from the provision of towels for the pool, extra towels for your room, hairdryer etc to a fully stocked fridge with items for you to purchase at a very low cost. Matthew is a fabulous host who cannot do enough for you, gave us great restaurant recommendations and was generally friendly and accommodating throughout

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Carob Tree. Only a 15 minute walk out of Victoria itself with a local shop and bus stops close by. The suite was beautiful, a lovely relaxing space with a jacuzzi bath and very peaceful spending time on the balcony. A lovely breakfast area and it was very relaxing to spend time by the pool. The hosts were very welcoming and gave some useful tips on where to go locally.

Everything was considered! Bathrooms in the room have a sliding door so are not the most private, but there are also separate bathrooms on each floor if you’re not comfortable being THAT open with your travelling partner

This is such a gem. Just outside of Victoria, the location feels like the quiet countryside but you can easily walk into the town or down to the coast (and there are direct buses both ways). The spaces are clean, spacious, and welcoming and the hosts can’t do enough for guests. Lovely thoughtful touches like a stocked fridge and snack bar, fruit, and coffee through the day make the experience seamless. Only wish we’d stayed longer!

The location is a little bit out of Victoria centre but we had a car so this was not a problem.

Super new, clean and tastefully decorated.also quite spacious (if a little bit dark) The host, Matthew, was super helpful and had very good recommendations for us The little area by the pool is lovely for relaxing, sunbathing The breakfast was very varied

The only down side I would say is that it is,a little off the beaten track. I thought it would be a bit closer to the centre of Victoria. Having a car and enjoying walking was fine for us, but if you are less mobile or don't have transport it wouldn't suit everyone.

A lovely very welcoming B&B. Matthew was an excellent host. The guest house is immaculate. The facilities an dadditional touches like tea and coffee and use of kitchen 24/7. Pool towels extra towels readily available. Superb.
