Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

North Macedoniaeverything was fine!
Excellent central position! Everything is within walking distance. The room was very good, clean, spacious, light, with all necessities needed. Good coffee in room. The staff was very kind and responsive. They were present all the time at the reception. The staff working in the kitchen was very kind and available, smiling all the time, and the food was squisite. We had the best breakfast, cooked at the very minute, fast delivered and most of all fresh. Everything was excellent! Thank you all and we will come again!

PolandNo complaints.
Great location smack in the middle of Valetta. The hotel is very conveniently located to all the key sights in the city, including a 2 minute walk to the Cathedral. Comfortable rooms with large beds. We also enjoyed a nice selection of breakfast options served a' la carte. A highly recommended place to stay for families.

United KingdomThe room is quite noisy from around 6.30 am when the cleaners begin work. Room 105 is just across from the maintenance room downstairs and the central atrium amplifies the noise the workers make, and they do make a lot of noise. Perhaps it would be a good idea to add a glass ceiling to keep out the noise.
Location and breakfast were both excellent.

MaltaThe first room allocated to us was stuffy, had “white” light instead of ambient light and was close to the lift and hotel public restrooms - creating a lot of noise. Following our complaint, we were allocated a better room on another floor. However, in the morning we were woken up by hotel employees having a meeting right outside our room. We had to exit the room and inform them to lower their voices. While the second room was nicer, unfortunately, the stay not a relaxing experience and not value for money.

TurkeyThe room did not have any windows. One partial window that opens in to the ground floor. 101 and 102 must not be used for guests, only janitors. The hotel reimbursed one of our rooms which was great customer service but the rooms should not exist in the ground floor. The windows open to the escalators and lobby for all of the hotel to see inside.

United KingdomWe were originally allocated to a room on the ground floor which was right by the lifts and reception and very noisy, we were moved to a room which was much quieter on request. I would note that a lot of the ‘courtyard view’ rooms mean that passers by at the hotel can see right into your room, meaning we had our curtains drawn our entire stay. I think a net curtain would be helpful here. The finishes were not what I would expect of a 5* hotel, the tile grout was mouldy in the bathroom, the bed sheets were bobbling, the skirting boards were coming away from the walls, the floors weren’t cleaned properly, housekeeping would wake me up every morning with the noise they were making in the adjacent room. It reminded me more of an Airbnb than a luxury hotel. Nevertheless we had a lovely stay and I can’t fault the staff!
Staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Location was unmatched. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice. Rooftop views and whirlpool were a delight

PolandThe hotel was a bit overpriced considering the cleanliness of the room and the quality of breakfast (tasty, but limited choice).
The location in the centre of Valletta is very convenient for walking around the city. It's also very close to the bus station for airport transfer or using public transportation to travel around the island.

GermanyBooked the transfer service from the Hotel and it looks like it was a scam. 30 mints delay and afterwards a random person appeared and took us with my aunt to a parking lot without a car, when we asked to wait the guy was leaving with my aunt’s luggage and had to stop him which he return but then disappeared never to be seen again! Had to pay for an Uber and then another Taxi driver appeared with a Van to take us. The communication with Hotel was the worst as the girl was saying we needed to wait and then she said she thought it was correct that this happened, no idea how! When we arrived to the Hotel, the girl not only didn’t apologize but another person had to intervene to support us, although no compensation was made to me nor to my aunt! They said today they are keeping the same service! Unbelievable! The bed of the Double room, the extra big bed is super hard. The Hotel also doesn’t have a service to bring your luggage nor to offer you tours or anything!
Room design and layout. Santiago from the Hotel Staff the only one nice.

United KingdomThe fact that I received an email a week before my arrival, telling me that I would have to move rooms halfway through my stay, because of a computer error, caused unnecessary anxiety and stress as I had booked a deluxe double with terrace well in advance of our stay. After a lot of going aback and forth, and being unable to speak to someone on the phone, I was given the room I originally booked. However, it was hardly deluxe. Yes, we had a terrace that we fought for, but, the room was a tiny corner room, with the smallest bathroom possible. Other issues included an incessant banging noise upstairs that went on for ages, a TV that kept cutting out every 20 mins and was never fixed along with wall sockets that didn’t work. The breakfast was also poor. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
The location was central, with close proximity to restaurants, some attractions and the harbour. The terrace was also good. Staff at the front desk were wonderful - helpful and polite, including one gentleman who made sure we had a packed breakfast when we checked out, as we had an early flight and would miss breakfast in the restaurant.

United KingdomBreakfast was questionable. The final day, the waiter saw a cockroach 🪳 running across the restaurant, stomped on it, and kicked it to the side of the room. Shock and horror all at the same time! The hotel, overall, requires a refresh in places, and the bed was too hard for us. We wouldn't stay again.
Good location and accomodating staff. The room size was great and had everything we needed.

United KingdomWe were first put on the ground floor, which is basically in the lobby. Super noisy and no sound proofing or windows (we tested one of us outside the door and you could literally hear the conversation from inside the room!!). The hairdryer burnt my hand from the plug as it got too hot, some plugs didn’t work. We complained and got moved to the 4th floor, after that the stay was very pleasant. Food was good and beds comfortable. Roof terrace nice bonus but it’s a jacuzzi not a pool!
Great location and modern
