Marsaskala itself is not particularly interesting, although there are several cafe's and restaurants by the water front. To get to the more interesting parts of Malta, you need transport. Saying that, the quality of the flat more than compensated for the not too central location.

The flat was very clean, and spacious and it had a wide balcony where we could sit quietly and have our meals, if we wanted to. There was air conditioning in every room! It was also super convenient that there was a supermarket direclty opposite the appartment (open till 22:00 every day), and the employess there were super friendly. The building had a lift, and there was no noise from any of the neighbours. There was a bus stop three minutes walk from the flat, too.

Spotless, clean, comfortable 2 bedroom apartment and 2 bathrooms,, fully equipped with everything you need. Handy balcony and spacious sitting room with TV. The Building itself clean and quiet, located in apartments area. Lots of parking spaces around, if you can't park beside your block, then there's a good few spots down the main road(200m). Traveled with family, we're all very happy with stay. Highly recommend.

Spacious apartment with supermarket and phamacy nearby. The bus station is very close and there are plenty of restaurants in Marsaskala to choose from. The host is very helpful and communicative.

The apartment was located in quiet surroundings, very clean and spacious, contemporary design. Good location - within walking distance to all local shops and restaurants. Beach could be reached by walking or by 2-3 bus stops.

The host Joan was brilliant and could not have been more helpful , after being dropped off at the wrong location she kindly came to collect us and even booked our taxi back to the airport as we had no phone signal. The bedding was changed midway through our stay,the apartment was immaculate through out with lovely clean comfortable beds and all the equipment you could need for self catering. The two double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms make this an excellent place for 4 adults. I will certainly recommend The Pines to everyone. +10*.

The place is situated in a quiet part of the city, it has a supermarket right in front of the building (less than a 1 minute walk), the beach is pretty close(Saint Thomas bay) , around 1-1.5km and on the way to the beach there are many restaurants and places to eat and bars. The apartament was very clean and the host was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed.

Convenience store nearby, close to the center. Very spacious, very clean, large balcony. Host very friendly and super easy to communicate with. Everything you might need. Quiet street and you might even be lucky to find a parking on that street or some parallel ones, which is super rare in Malta.

We stayed in the apartment for the whole vacation (9 days), and felt at home here. The apartment is nice and spacious, there is a terrace where you can relax at almost any time of the day since it is on the shade side of the street, so you don't have to sit in the sun. Good wifi. A supermarket is located just across the street, and it really is a supermarket, not just a small store. No fresh meat / fish but other than that you'll find any food you'd like there. Open daily until 10 pm (which is not common for Malta). Nice and friendly owners. Some small touches like oil / salt / pepper, paper napkins in a holder (not just kitchen paper towels), soft cushions for the terrace chairs would be nice, but I guess this is just a matter of the place being so new. I definitely recommend the apartment to those who plan renting a car and travelling through the island!

We came earlier and checked in at 11 am, so nice people met us !!! Apartment is amazing, big living room connected with kitchen, huge balcony with table, two rooms in opposite parts of the apartment, you have absolutely everything you need (you can cook, conditioner, oven etc.). Also 5 min walk we rented a car for 75€/3 days, also there is a supermarket just across the street, it’s close to the sea. We enjoyed our stay a lot !
