Bunk in the room is too high. It is dangereous who will sleep on top. You cant go down safely and easy. They need to change to the lower one.

The location is perfect. So close everywhere. The room was big and clean. I had no problem about hot water and it was already ready. The building is very good

I am not quite sure if the tab water in the hostel kitchen tab was drinkable. It would be good to sign out if it was filtered or not for the clarity.

I found the beds extremely comfortable and the staff very friendly. The hostel was clean and the dorm was spacious. The Spa was very enjoyable- it would be great to add to extra 2 extra chairs there to lay down so all four people who can go at the same time can relax equally. I would come back any time and I recommend this hostel.

I think the bathroom could improve a lot. The hooks were insufficient, so towels were overlapped. There were no available flat surfaces and the sink was too tiny, for a half bathroom it would've been okay, but for other than washing hands it was too small and it splattered; Making the bathroom wet and messy.

The location was amazing, the staff was very welcoming and the room was very clean!

Sauna room is quite small. Jacuzzi temperature is too cool and cannot be adjusted, also the button needs to be activated every 5 minutes, not so ideal for relaxing

Not a dislike as such, but be aware that there is no dedicated parking. We got lucky and found a spot on the same street. There is also a car park for the ferry near by for a small fee by but I imagine that would get very busy in peak periods. Given the location you only really need a car to explore the island further afield.

We stayed in the Vanilla suite and it was lovely, clean, and spacious. We also used the ‘spa’ area (jacuzzi and sauna) which was again clean and spacious. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hostel (really it felt like a hotel with some hostel rooms) is in a great location in Sliema - easy walk to the ferry, buss stops, shops, and great restaurants.

Wonderful place. The sauna and jacuzzi is an amazing option for relaxation after a day of sightseeing. The whole hostel is very atmospheric. The kitchen is very nice there is everything you need. The facility is close to stores and bars

No lift and our amazing room was on the top floor. Quite a chore to reach the top about 60 steps up.

Breakfast was not available at premises but facilities were amazing if you needed to buy in and cook. Staffs kindness. Will be back.

Cleaning staff not to be speaking on their mobile phones, having private conversations or listening to loud commentary when they enter a guest’s room. That is an area of improvement. I had to tell the Asian cleaner twice to be quiet in my room while I was on a project call!

Beautiful location with many options nearby. I absolutely loved the spa with a suana and hot tub, this was worth the cost of entry let alone the room. The kitchen area was nice for self preparations and storage.

I stayed in the Green room, so I don't know if the situation was different in other rooms: There should be more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and clothes while showering, changing, etc. (at least two per bed) and a shelf in the shower and near the bathroom sink to set toiletries on while using the space. There is the windowsill where people put (and leave) their stuff, but then it's difficult to open the window after showering to let out the humidity, so people don't, which causes more problems for you (the hostel owner and staff) in the long run (damp, mould, etc.). Additionally, the bedrooms should have hooks near the beds to hang clothes and jackets on, as well as towel bars to hang up wet towels to dry (in the long run this would better for the furniture since having wet stuff hanging on the beds, etc. ruins the wood very quickly). There should be a shelf or hooks under the sink for extra toilet paper, so it doesn't end up on the garbage bin or the (wet/dirty) bathroom floor or the wet edge of the bathroom sink. The waste and recycling bins in the kitchen should be labeled better including what items belong in each bin. Although there were two bins, it seemed to me that both were full of the same things. What about biodegradable waste? I enjoyed using the sauna, but noticed that some of the other guests had apparently never been in a sauna before and did not know the basic use and hygiene rules, so having a sign with the step-by-step would probably be helpful. Nr. 1 rule for a nice hostel: When things get broken or worn out, fix them or replace them right away!

The building has been wonderfully renovated; there are modern amenities (bathrooms, toilets, electrical outlets, sauna, kitchen, etc.), but the beautiful historical features (wooden beams, limestone ceiling and walls, carved wooden and wrought iron staircases, marble floors, etc.) have been retained. The artwork on the walls is (mostly) "real art" -interesting, informational, aesthetic. The common areas were clean and comfortable: the downstairs space was nice for quiet work or reading and the kitchen/patio space was nice when I wanted to socialize with other guests. The electrical outlets near the bed are "universal" so even though I forgot to bring my plug to fit the Maltese outlet, I could still charge my phone with my Austrian plug and there is a lamp and shelf above each bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to borrow a lock for my storage space under the bed, so I didn't need to take all my valuables with me every time I left the hostel. I was able to leave my bags at the hostel for the day before my plane left, as well as use the common areas even after I had checked-out that morning. This was nice as I went to the beach and went swimming on my last day and was able to go back to the hostel, shower and change before I had to leave for the airport.
