Everything was very good. Only one small problem as there is no restaurant within walking distance.

The hosts were wonderful, they waited for us. He explained everything. All the time, when needed, provided the necessary information. The villa was in a beautiful location, close to the beach. The villa had everything we needed.

Very nice place with enchaning beach view. The owners are very friendly & helpful. We are allowed to check out late up to 6PM without any extra fee.

Just before the reservation we were quite dissapointed in this region, coz it was hard to find something. So we took this place and we didn't expect anything. It turned out to be one of the best places we stayed in Mauritius. You get this amazing spacious apartment. You can see the ocean through the window and its only 50 meters away. Hosts were so so nice. They did react very fast to our reservation, coz we did it same day. They were very helpful by answering every question of ours. This order was deal of the year, ladies and gentelmen.

The mattresses on the beds are really hard and the whole place needs updating. Had a problem with hot water and ants - lots of ants who seemed to be moving home upstairs and also coming out of the back of a kitchen socket covering the bench but nature will do what it wants.

The location is second to none with an amazing beach just opposite. It’s completely safe with 24 hour security and fencing. The owners, cleaner and security guard were all lovely people and were very fast to sort out the issues.

There is a common pool together with the other houses which was said would be cleaned but there were always a ”coat of biology” on the bottom and walls that indicated that the pool was not clean. So we did not use it. But this was a minor problem because the beach was only two minutes away. The oven was a small toast grill that could not be used to make much else than toast. The internet was good, where there was a signal. Which it was in the bottom floor and in one of the bedrooms. But it was no internet connection(wifi) in two of the bedrooms and in the balcony with the good view. The air condition in the bedrooms was very good. But in the living room and the kitchen there were no ac. Therefore it became unbearable at times since it was also rather humid. This lead to that the whole family sometimes squezed in in the one bedroom where both wifi and ac worked... Minus Pool in bad shape. Was not clean. Therefore we did not use it. Internet does not work in two of the bedrooms. No oven, just a small sandwich grill to make toast in. No air condition in the living room and kitchen. Only cold water in the kitchen.

Very good reception of the hosts. They helped us to suggest trips we should visit and also helped us book a boat trip. We had contact with them throughout the stay and they were always very kind and helpful. Very nice view from a balcony upstairs where you could see the ocean and the beach. There were two sunbeds there. If there were a table and chairs there we would probably have eaten there every time, instead of the bottom floor were there were no view. Plus: Very close to the beach. Just 2 min walk. Nice view from one of the balconies. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Good air condition in the bedrooms.

The cockroach on the wall in the kitchen. The floors were extremely dirty. The beds were hard. We slept on top of the bed. Everything was old and dated and felt un clean. Very happy we only spent one night there.

Upon arrival we asked the security guard, at the entrance to the complex, where Azure Villa was but he had no idea. We managed to find Azure Villas where the owners of the property were finishing to clean the property. The owner briefly showed us around the villa, advised us that one fridge contained their contents and that the cupboard in the downstairs bathroom was also part of their storage area, and left. We invited the rest of our family in but as we inspected the property properly it became clear that we had been mislead by the photos on Booking.com (posted by the property) and could not stay at this property. We sent the owner a message that we could not stay at this sub-standard property (445 Euro for 4 nights), vacated the property, and left the keys with security. We advised Booking.com that we had been mislead by the photos on Booking,com and requested a refund. The owner refused to reimburse us even though we did not use any of his facilities (had we stayed at the property the owner would have incurred costs : water / electricity / toilet paper / cleaning / bedding / linen). Thus we have lost 445 Euro but want to ensure that nobody has to endure what we have been through. The property is not up to standard (please see photo`s) and it felt as though the owners vacated their house temporarily to let it to us. The kitchen is small and ill equipped - two plate counter top stove. If you wanted to visit on the downstairs patio you would look into a stone wall with electrified fencing on top. There is are a terrible smell coming from across the road. The property borders the main coastal road which carries a lot of traffic. The ceiling of the downstairs patio has plaster falling off. The table on the downstairs patio is unpractical for a family. The downstairs bathroom is completely uninviting and shoddy. The complex and pool area feels run down and unkept. The rear patio upstairs is used as a washing line.

Absolutely nothing. The photos on Booking.com (posted by the owner of the property) are completely misleading.
