United KingdomThe staff were very helpful and friendly but could do with some extra direction. For example, I was not able to get a bottle of wine before the restaurant sommelier arrived for the dinner service despite there being a barman at bar.
The location is exceptional, being located in a remote corner of the Rodrigues island. Miles of unspoilt sandy beach and clear water. The hotel itself has been beautifully put together with each room being a stand alone villa on a slope close to the beach.

AustraliaThis boutique hotel is gorgeous. Huge rooms and the outdoor bathtub is a nice touch. I wasn't wowed by the food, but the service was good and we had a beautiful, quiet stay. Situated on a stretch of beach that was perfect for morning walks, there are ocean views from everywhere.

FranceBed was a bit over firm though staff did dutifully manage to mitigate that a bit for us. Pillows did remain a spongy disappointment however. Also, although limited free still water is provided in the room each day, there is none for free during dinner or anywhere else at the resort during your stay. This seems to be a Mauritius thing but still feels a bit petty for a 4 star hotel. Also, no workout facility or water sports on site as this is a smaller boutique resort.
Wonderful beach location, well appointed, private cottage, beautiful hilly location with amazing views and super cushy/comfortable beach recliners set up in pairs under umbrellas with ample spacing making for a dreamy outside experience. Meals were excellent, gourmet quality as well !

GermanyYou just have to be aware of the fact that you are on the east side of the island so you can’t see the wonderful sunsets. In addition, this side of the island is very dry and at the time we were there (end of September) it was very windy all day long.
Breakfast was good, the hotel itself is very nice and quiet! The beach just in front is amazing and the people are so gorgeous! We had a deluxe bungalow, which was wonderful! The bungalow are quite far away from each other so you can enjoy your privacy! The massages we booked were just wonderful too!

MauritiusCould not enjoy the sea much due to rough sea nor the pool as cold weather. Also could not enjoy outdoor bathtub of my room as was not functional. And spas fully booked. Also child bed, really small and hard to sleep. First night, she fell off the bed and the remaining 3 nights she had to sleep with us and as usual parents sleep on the edge with a toddler doing the clock on bed.
The tranquility and separate villas for more privacy.
