We had a truly wonderful experience staying here. Our group consisted of five adults and a five-year-old, and the place catered perfectly to every generation. The apartment was absolutely immaculate—beautifully maintained and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a second home. The breathtaking view and pristine beach created unforgettable memories. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the care and attention we received. We had a last-minute request for a small, symbolic wedding ceremony, and our manager, Frederick, went above and beyond to make it happen. His genuine dedication to our happiness was remarkable—he even led the ceremony himself, creating a moment we’ll cherish forever. I can’t recommend this place highly enough to anyone visiting Mauritius. If you’re looking for a memorable, heartwarming stay, this is the place to be.

The pool area was a bit unkempt, but thats it.

We loved the place even since the entrance!! Security and private parking, very nice apartment, good smell ,very spacious, organized kitchen, clean bedrooms and bathrooms and the pool view was just the cherry on the cake :) Everything was perfect, the staff very nice and Warrren very friendly and prompt in response. We had the best stay here in Mauritius and definitely we will be back.

On foot, the area only allows access to a couple restaurants and shops, and this is using a noisy and narrow main street. Recommended to have individual transport to explore the wider area. The master bedroom in our apartment was an inside room, ie. the window was giving onto part of the living room and was curtained off. Didn't bother us, but might bother some people.

Large, comfortable apartment with all the facilities. Rooms are large, and the kitchen / living room area is well sized. Responsive and accommodating host, thanks Warren! Well-working appliances including A/C. The outside patio was pleasant to sit on. However the real jewel of this place is the pool and beach front area! The pool is large and well tempered. Trees with flocks of birds provide ample shade and entertainment. From the pool, you can walk directly into the ocean and go snorkeling in the shallow reefy area.

We have a wonderful vacation in Tamarin. Excellent stay at Esplanade. Wonderful views from the terrasse, the beach, just below, the helpful team with Frederic & Warren taking care of us. We will definitely come back.

Some bits needed some work eg plunge pool not working due to defective motor(this didn’t matter to us as we were happy to use the pool) & a cupboard door coming off. The staff however fixed that promptly & explained this issue with the plunge pool motor on arrival. July is low season so there will likely be some maintenance happening.

Some guests arrived later in the week and made a nuisance of them in the swimming pool, they had no respect for other guests, throwing ball, splash.. patetic attitude!!!!!!

Location...location. Situated right on beach with pool. Views of sunsets are amazing. Lots of shops and restaurants close by gives you many options.

Some structural issues due to recent weather made some of the doors a bit impossible to work with and we had some issues with our shower and bath but management are aware of it and will probably be fixed soon.

What a breathtaking location with great units, the sea is easily accessible and you can walk just about anywhere you need to. We will definitely try make a plan to visit again and stay for longer. We stayed in a ground floor unit and the layout was private and well thought out. There is an outdoor communal gas BBQ setup on the side of the complex, we saw it too late to use it but recommend having a relaxing al fresco dinner there.

The beach in front of the hotel was very rocky but there is a sandy beach just next door.

The manager was very nice and attentive. The apartment was big and very well equipped. There are small shops within closer walking distance but you need a car to get to the bigger supermarkets.

The facilities in the apartment were perfect. I only missed the instruction manuals for the cooker and washing machine. I would also have liked to have found hooks in the hallway. By the way, the bed lamp in the smallest bedroom is very, very wobbly. The upķeep of the complex was great. I would recommend Le Horizon - Apartment at any time. 🇧🇪Elgin

We arrived late about 21.30, the kids were hungry and all food and restaurants were closed. No 24 hour shops. Will be good to stock coffee, tea milk and biscuits for guests, only for check in. There were sugar, jams and a something to drink for two persons.

Be aware that to there is no lift for this apartment. You will need to take the stairs to the third floor. However once you get there the view will take your breath away.

I stayed in the penthouse c5 and the view is simply beautiful. There is a breathtaking view of Le Morne mountain and the lagoon. The property was cleaned and well looked after. Spacious living and very comfortable. I had a wonderful time.

This property was spectacular. The views were my favourite. Even from the bathroom. And the infinity pool and private little beach were out of this world. The unit was very clean and had everything one would need to cook but was also close to local restaurants nd grocery stores.
