althought there are many that find bad things about this resort. well, I find it the best on flic and flac beach. everything is superlative: the nature (all over palm trees), food, super beach, super sunset.

fantastic and beautiful resort! clean, very well taken care of, great bungalows and the surroundings were so green and peaceful. the beach was magnificent! good variety of activities and the food was delicious. special thank you to the sommeliers Girish and Jean-Pierre who with competent and friendly professional way made are sinners a bit more special and delightful.

Every night there was a loud music. Many bungalows (ours too), are very close to the entertainment area. It was not possible to sleep until the music ended (22:30-23:00) After 4 days we got an another bungalow. The manager didn't really understand our problem with loud music. From his point of view it is a fantastic service to the guests... Advise: If you are with a child, or you are an early sleppe,r ask the hotel for a bungalow which is far from the music area. Note: If you by a buffet dinner at the hotel after your arrival it is round 3 times more expensive (2200 rupees/person + drink) when you book a half board here in booking.com. Dont understand why. The beach is fantastic, but the sea was a bit disappointed. Unfortunatley snorkeling is not a big experience.

Garden is fantastic, bungalows great, free water sport activities, breakfast great but boring after 5 days. Location is good, easy to access the local restaurants. (we have a rental car, but they are in walking distance)

A bit pricey for a lot of things. A few lizards in my room.

Location of the room is very good, easy to get to the restaurants, reception, pool and the beach. Room was very large, clean, bed was comfy, bathroom was very nicely designed. Staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. Food was pretty good too.

Flic en flac probably isn't one of the most attractive parts of the island.

The food was overall good. But for one night, they made an Italian dinner. It was terrible! Most of the dishes were uneatable. Why the hell are you trying to make European food for Europeans who can eat it all the time? Stick to Mauritian food. You have great spices, local sea food, local fruits. Why trying to make that you can't?

The place is awesome. Beautiful beach, lovely garden, super bungalows. Tip: use the local restaurant, the Coconut Cafe. But book in advance it is small and can be full very quickly! Tip2: watch the sunset with cocktail in your hand. Unbeatable experience

Some of the food tasted bland but there was a good selection

I loved the low key feel to the beach side bungalows. They are clean, comfortable and beautiful, amongst the bamboo trees with birds singing all around. There are loads of sporty activities on site to use as and when you feel, for free - mini golf, ping pong, volley ball, boule, tennis, kayaks, pedalos, it goes on.

The restaurants on site aren't actually part of the hotel so if you go for the all-inclusive option or even half-board, you won't get your monies worth as they only give you a partial credit towards food only -and you have to top up the rest including any drinks. Options for vegans or lactose-free individuals not catered for at this resort but I found this to be an issue at all the hotels we went to on the island.

The staff at the hotel were all very helpful and very friendly. Shan looked after us really well in the Buddha Bar -which was a gorgeous bar/restaurant overlooking the sea (with fabulous sunsets) and made us some lovely cocktails and helped us get a table in the restaurant -even though they were fully booked. Jessy helped looked after us at breakfast and always did so with a smile. Steven the manager helped sort out an issue we had with the all-inclusive element which was greatly appreciated. Overall the staff here were so helpful and couldn't do enough for you. I even had the plug end to my Dyson hairdryer replaced when it was discovered to be faulty from the previous hotels socket! The hotel is beautiful and although the room itself wasn't huge, it was perfectly well formed and had enough space without feeling cramped, and was lovely and bright. The Italian restaurant was wonderful and had the best spaghetti bolognaise I've ever had!

Absolutely gorgeous stay! It's really worth the price. Stuff was pleasant and helpful. The position is great - very near to the city, where are plenty shops with souvenirs or u can even go to local restaurants (we did dinners like this to discover local quisine). Everything in the hotel is just beautiful - dining room is huge, clean, food selection for breakfast is endless (u can even drink iced champagne at breakfast for god sakes!:D) and everything is delicious. We did also dinner once and it was just p-e-r-f-e-c-t! The room is spatious enough for two people, bathroom with shower and bath, two sinks. Garden full of flowers, bushes, palm trees. The best thing is the beach. It's just like on pictures - long, white sand, the water is unbelievably clear, lot of places to snorkle, u can do kayaking/paddle boarding etc for free. U can do beach tennis/volleyball/minigolf/table tennis for free too. This hotel was the best place we've ever been to and I think that the bad reviews here are written by more difficult people who are very very used to higher rated hotels. If we'll ever come to Mauritius again, we'll definitely do this again! Thanks for everything.

Although we enjoyed the themed dinners, it does limit ones options. The room should be furnished to a higher standard.

The beach, the views and the gardens are absolutely beautiful. Dinner is served on a buffet basis. The food is tasty and there is ample to go around. The room we occupied had a magnificent outlook to the sea and was well appointed.
