United KingdomThe hammam at the Spa was not working and felt in general that it didnt match the level of the other facilities of the hotel.
All the staff were really attentive to details and went out of their way to please the guests. Food was tasty especially the Mauritian and Seafood buffet that we had. The kids club staff were very kind and my daughter had a fantastic time. Rooms were of decent size, comfortable and housekeeping did an amazing job. We had an early birthday celebration for my daughter and she was spoilt by the hotel! Thank you for making it so memorable.

It is an exceptional hotel in which you can be sure you will have a wonderful holiday! From the kid's club to the wonderful beach, you can find leisure everywhere.

Everything, the hotel, the restaurants, the beach, the service and the stuff! My husband and I had a great time at there. The view and the beach are breathtaking. We tried all the restaurants and the food is amazing. Everyone was so nice and thorough, making us feel so welcomed. A special thanks to Tommy from the boat house, Kaleem from the house keeping, Annastasia, Agnes and Denis from the daily service on WhatsApp, Dylan from the coco’s beach house restaurant, Stacy who welcomed us when we checked-in, and Jauhan from l’île de Mangenie. GermanyThere is not much we can mention, but if you had to pick something out we would say that the bathrooms in the hotel rooms of the coral side are a little old and could be redone. Nothing that bothered us too much though!
The layout of the hotel and its unique location made our stay absolutely unforgettable. The renovation in 2024 for the common spaces is very well made and you do not have the impression of an old hotel. The service is exceptional and we enjoyed the water sport facilities. We recommend to take the boats to both sides of the island and make use of the complementary activities such as wakeboard. We rarely consider to visit a hotel twice but the shangri la in Mauritius is worth visiting again!

United KingdomRoom had ants, AC was too cold. Swimming pool temperature was not warm enough. Also they should not charge extra for food at any restaurant if breakfast and dinner was included. But they tried to address all these issues except the extra payment for some restaurants.
Service attitude of people and they were quite responsive. They went extra mile to satisfy us. Location was good and so was food. Overall hotel is very nice and they are now doing renovations so it will even look better.

My husband and I stayed at Shangri-La Le Touessrok in Mauritius for nine nights, from May 8th to May 17th, 2024, in the Frangipani Suite (half board). Our experience was exceptional. Exceptional Service The hotel is modern and impeccably clean. The service is extraordinarily personal, with staff going above and beyond to ensure guest comfort. Every request was promptly fulfilled. Warm Welcome Upon arrival, we were escorted to a beautiful lobby with comfortable seating and chilled drinks while the check-in process was handled seamlessly, a refreshing change from usual check-in queues. Outstanding Staff Special mentions: Our Butlers: Odesh and Clarel, who ensured we never lacked anything. Iqbal Goolfee (SM Duty Manager), Jessan Kadun (Front Office Manager), Hassen (Guest Relations Manager), and the front office team, including Dinesh and Clarette, who anticipated our needs. Deepak, who was incredibly helpful and informative. Concierge and Activities The concierge team was welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable, handling our booking requests and last-minute cancellations with grace. CHI SPA The CHI SPA is phenomenal, with luxurious facilities and attentive staff, especially Geraldine. The delicious teas and premium L'Occitane toiletries were delightful. Dining Experience The food was outstanding. Le Bazar offered a wide variety of cuisines each evening, with plenty of vegetarian options. Breakfast included fresh South Indian Dosa and Aaloo Parathas. Saffron restaurant served exceptional Indian food, with special thanks to Chef Ahmed, Umesh, and Dev. Recreational FacilitiesThe well-maintained tennis courts and clean swimming pools were impressive. The beach service, including cold water, towels, fresh fruit, and sorbet, was excellent. The white sandy beach was perfect for barefoot walks. Private Island:Shangri-La’s private island, accessible via a short boat ride, is serene and immaculate. The facilities and staff made it an ideal place to relax.
