Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MauritiusProperty needs serious renovation. Does not reflect 5 star status of the property. Toilet was leaking in the room.
Room was spacious and had a nice view on the beach. Food was ok. Team members were ok but the younger generation may require a bit more training.

United KingdomSome of the staff were very surly and extremely slow at doing anything. The room maids kept making mistakes of what we had taken from the mini bar and we had to keep correcting it at reception. The food was average for the price. We had to send back our fish as it was totally over cooked and the chips weren’t hot after waiting over 45 minutes for it to arrive. Would never stay here again.
nice view from room. comfy bed and sun beds down on the beach. good selection for breakfast.

SloveniaOnly thing we would approve is that music at the bar can be loud in the evening if you have a room facing this bar (9-11 PM). It would be better to turn off the music a bit or only limit it to certain days or place families in quiet rooms elsewhere.
This was by far the best hotel we have stayed in as far as we can remember, we believe current rating (7.6?) does not do it justice since we would give it 10 stars. Everything was excellent, from huge family rooms (74 m2!), to food (French food with choice also on Indian, Asian etc), kids club - our kids were 3&5 (opened from 10-22.00, with possibility of kids dining with them so you can enjoy dinner alone), many fun activities. We also tried spa (husband had great massage), yoga (nice), family treasure hunt and many other activities. Facilities are great (pool, kids pool), resort is clean, well maintained, staff is beyond nice. We were on HB package and it suit us well, we ate lunch extra at resort every day and we do not find food pricey (European prices), drinks are a bit pricey (9 euros for beer), but still a lot cheaper than Dubai 5 star resorts we tried before. Husband also arranged for kitesurfing lessons (10minutes away, in the next resort) and we have to admit Mauritius is even kitesurfing paradise, flat lagoon, no people (2-4 kitesurfers at the time), great instructor. We hope to be back to Outrigger soon with 3 kids, we saw many big families and the extra kids room can fit 3-4 kids easily + they gifted us many free coffees, ice cream was free all the time, which is a nice gesture. Overall, 10/10, thank you very much for everything! PS: We even got early check in and late check out, so basically we got to stay there 8 days and paid for 7 nights. Excellent price/value ratio on 2nd week of January, looking at prices, first week of January would be too expensive and March and April as well, but we got great nightly rate and think it was totally worth the money.

AustraliaWell tv channels not that good. And best to get at least half board nothing close to eat out. Unless you have a car taxi cost a bit to get you somewhere. Resort is in middle of nowhere. Beer prices bit high.
Big clean room had deluxe beachfront. Staff very friendly and do anything you needed. Big resort lots of people but never felt crowded. Plenty of choice of food. And activities to do

South AfricaThe rooms is very hot in the evening even if the aircon is on 16, so a fan portable fan should be standard in all rooms. The reception should explain half board and all inclusive better, cause we paid a lot for our first days stay cause on our side half board is different, when you have a dinner package then all the drinks with that dinner package is also free. This made a dent in our finances on the last day. Breakfast is a little blend, with nothing out of the ordinary and the bacon is heavy overcooked and chewy, so for instances for my wife that only eats eggs and bacon, she could only eat eggs because of this. For men, the findlater is not a proper whisky so therefore on a all inclusive the whisky becomes and issue cause everything is supplementary/payable. On the last day I ordered a Macallan and there was no stock, the same with when I ordered Brisket early the week and later the week they had. The towels for the swimming pool were only provided to us on the second last day and we never knew where to find it. Water is a basic need so we can't be expected to pay for extra water in the room, but at the restaurant it is free on all inclusive like it should be. The photo done with your photographer can't be so much when added on a USB, I never hear of a USB with photos on that cost so much. Also don't get me wrong money is not the issue, but I like to pay for a quality service like it should be.
I liked the daily vibe and the fact that you don't really need to leave the island to have a great time.

Francedefinitely not a 5 star resort. the check-in process was dull, the front desk agent didn’t want to spend any of her time giving us proper layout of the resort. The property is old, dirty and completely outdated
Highly recommend the dinner food buffet restaurant, many food options are available

IndiaThe staff was undertrained and they had problems communicating the services which the resort offers. We had a very bad experience where the resort charged us twice for dinner on 31st December. Even after multiple attempts at telling them that we already paid for dinner during booking they refused to understand and we gave up. Fortunately, they understood their mistake and refunded the money back at the end of the trip but it was a really bad experience which killed our mood. Also, in general I guess that the staff should be more comfortable with English, and not only French, when there are international guests.
The location was amazing and the food was good. The location is beautiful and the drive outside the resort was amazing. The room was also spacious.

Saudi ArabiaDisgusting food, cockroaches in the restaurant, dirty swimming pool, rusted and broken toys in the kids club, aircon not working and staff who have basically given up because they say the owners refuse to invest in the property.
Absolutely nothing at all. This is the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. In a dangerous state of disrepair, inedible processed rotten food and no thought at all given to the guest experience.

United Arab Emiratescleanliness! walking around the hotel is messy, the pavement was so sandy and not clean until the doorstep, so walking to the room is impossible without making the whole room full of sand even if you take your shoes off, what made it worse is that there was a water leak in the plumbing next to the room and we were literally stepping into sand mud right before entering the room. Also there were thousands of flies and mosquitoes waiting for us right outside to the room entrance due to water leak, once we open the door they get inside. food was average. another issue that pissed us off is that we specifically asked for a pcr test (not antigen test), after multiple delays the doctor eventually came and did antigen test for my wife which was rejected by the airline, we didn’t know the difference or noticed that he wrote antigen on the report but the doctor did for sure, we made a real pcr test in the airport and barely made to the gate.
staff were polite, nice views, did a great massage.nice pool on the beach.
