South AfricaLe4s start by saying the hotel cannot be rated good on cleanliness. The day I arrived the rooms were not very clean I had the family duplex and stairs were dirty with dust to go to the top room. The bedding was not very clean alot of stains as well as the towels. The bathroom was not clean either, We had to ask for things as these are not replenished.. There was alot of ants in the balcony and the room The bath tub is do high to get in and out of snd I had elderly people with me I feel this hotel can be a great place if renovated.
The view from my room was exceptional. The staff Mr Manoj was great and ready to assist whenever he could. Mr Viren which we met at supper was also very sweet and pleasant. Mr Anwar the restaurant manager was accomodating. whenever we were fasting. Overall staff was helpful.

AustraliaThe bathroom !!! I got locked in had to climbed toilet seat to seek help with door and the bidet has such a big pressure that has flooded the connecting corridor and room . Maintenance insisting on not using pressure on the tap had to ask him how to do that ! He did and obviously notice of course not us but the tap itself is hard ! An hr before check out he wanted to come to fix things in the room asking the receptionist to ask us ! If he can . The lunch chef provided an awesome lunch poulet croustillant and fried noodles and same thing ordered next day ! Was disastrous charged us more and less food plus the quality was poor ! And the same dish were served to another customer which looked decent ! Been traumatised by the service that had to call him to inform we did not get value for money and he says sorry with out really understanding how we felt ! Told him not to repeat this to another customer . Shame that he did that to guests. The bad

MauritiusDinner and breakfast were minimal as it was off peak season. We booked a family suite, double bed on 1 floor and two singles on top in the same room. What we didn't like was that the room was full of cobwebs and lizards. It looked like the room had been ignored and not cleaned for a long time.
We stayed for one night at sunset reef. It was mostly quiet which we liked, probably because it was off peak. The surroundings are good, I was told every room is seaview. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

MauritiusThe actual hotel was clean and the view of the ocean good, however the immediate grounds in front and on the side foreshore was disgusting with debris and human waste.Owners should seek government tourism authorities look into cleaning up this precious side of the environment urgently. the hoyel is ok, the viscinity is catastrphic.!
Breakfast: Only Half an hour after opening, was any sort of offerings made available, seems no particulr staff in chsrge of anything, difficult to identify staff since no name plate or uniforms visible.
