Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomOnly a few minor niggles. Firstly it was a bit noisy at times as there is a construction site behind the place and they are at the breeze-block stage so angle grinders go off at regular intervals. Secondly, and nothing to do with the property, every surrounding place seems to have its own dog and each time anyone walks past, the resident dog starts barking, followed by the next and the next. It can be a bit wearing especially in the evening. Lastly, there is a propensity for locals to meet at the adjacent slipway to have beer drinking parties, normally off the bonnet of a car. . One last thing; the ensuite shower upstairs was unusable, as the holding bracket was sheared & there was no shower curtain. We did report it but nothing was done, and we coped with one shower anyway. As I say just minor niggles and apart from that, no real complaints
Lovely spacious villa, 3 bedrooms, aircon throughout that worked pretty well, 2 bathrooms (one ensuite) and a couple of terraces, one at the top overlooking the bay and another more sheltered adjacent to the lounge Really nice view at the front and the property was well equipped and in a traditional décor throughout. We were met by Stephanie who showed us around, gave us the keys and ran us through the alarm instructions. The kitchen seemed well equipped with plenty of utensils and crockery, although we only used the microwave (I don't go only holiday to cook) and similarly the pool looked pretty decent, although again it wasn't used. TV worked fine but sadly Mauritian TV leaves a bit to be desired. There as also a working gas BBQ, but again we didn't use it.

IndiaNothing. This place is very good. However the host can definitely get some contacts for a taxi, car or bike rental. If they also put up a list of things to do around or would be cherry on cake. I have one more observation for any one booking this place (although nothing for the host) but since this place is located in the residential area you will have a local government official coming to visit you and will insist on getting a Malaria test. Since we were caught off guard and did not anticipate the government person forcing is to take the test it was a bit of sour moment. I guess the host can probably write this in the bio and let people know of the local requirements. But again don't let this influence your decision. It's a great place.
We absolutely loved the place. Great Location. Stunning views. Either the reviews given early were when the place was not renovated or just plain old reviews. The place is neat and the host sends someone to clean the house every day. The pool was clean as well. It's a 10 min walk to the market and water front. And a 10 min bus ride to Blue Bay. Since this is on the residential side of Mahebourg restaurants and cafe shut by 6 pm. However we did get food as late as 10.30 pm in a few local joints. The linens and towels are very clean and smell of fresh laundry. They have a fully equipped kitchen with all cooking utensils. It is possible that during summer the house might heat up as there is no fan for air circulation. However there is an AC in every room including the drawing room. And the windows if opened will give good air circulation.

South AfricaHaving to take a cold shower daily for 10 days due to the solar system..there is no alternative available. Unfortunately the weather was overcast and / rainy for 10 days ( 22 June to 02 July 2024)
All facilities were good in the house, except the geyser that was disappointing. The location was excellent

GermanyMaybe some sun protection for the terraces upstairs would be nice. The internet was pretty slow and you have no or a very weak signal in most of the bedrooms but that wasn't a big deal for us. We had some trouble to finde the apartment as there are no house numbers in the street. Maybe a small drawing on a map would help. :)
A very nice, clean and big apartment with the best view you can imagine. We loved the place and were sad that we didn't had more time there to relax in the pool and on one of the three (!!!) terraces. All in all an awesome place that looks like new or very well maintained. Thanks for having us!
