At any stay the team is what makes it memorable, Noufal, Enya, Sid were extremely professional, hospitable, welcoming which made it all memorable. The house reef was beautiful rich marine life directly accessible from the beach. The rooms were spacious, clean with all necessary amenities. A cozy island small yet beautiful landscaping of lush greens and easily accessible sandy beach walkways around entire island. Breakfast was delicious quality with a wide array of options for everyone. Ability to visit a neighboring island daily from the property.

The staffs are very warm and welcoming. The location is not so far from the airport. Villas are well maintained and clean. Food was good. We enjoyed the complimentary sunset cruise. The resort is really a good value for money.

Nothing to complain about.

This was our first time in Maldives and Dhawa Ihuru was the great choice. The location of the island is excellent, only 20-25 minutes ride from Male airport with speedboat which is tolerable even in the windy weather and rough sea as it was the evening when we came. Check in was super quick and we were led to the restaurant before it closes. Overall the food was very good during our stay with plenty of choices for each meal. There are hot dishes in addition to the egg/waffle station for breakfast. Buffet for lunch has a lot of choices, as well as grill station. Dinner is buffet or a la carte, all good. Plenty of local super fresh fish and fruits. The food is tasty in a home/your mom’s food style, not Michelin type restaurant. The same feeling of home extends to all hotel, the staff is very friendly and willing to talk to you if you feel like it, and genuinely interested if you are happy with the food, how do you like the island etc. All of them are really nice but special star goes to Liusha, thank you! One evening there was session of local traditional music performed by hotel staff, the event finished with a lot of guests showing their dancing skills :), it was fun! Villa was spacious with separate living area with table which was used for some work during our stay, wi fi is excellent. There is enough privacy between villas. The decision to come during off season when there are more cloudy/rainy days actually suited us as the sun is very strong and SPF is much required even in the cloudy weather. And still we were able to snorkel every day. The snorkeling was easy, there are marked channels to pass the reef and in 10 meters you can see the different types of fish, sharks, turtle etc. Big thanks to Nittu who led us on guided snorkeling tour around island with photo session, we now have some amazing videos and photos.

Very nice island.. small and calm.. the rooms are nice ..all the staff are nice people.. suitable for couples or family which their kids 10 years and below .. the price with full board is suitable.. the food themes are changing everyday and the food is delicious .. they meet your requirements of food regarding the kids and very flexible to cook for you kid whatever you need.. Yafis and Nitu was very nice at the dive center “ i managed to get my diving certificate with them” .. the clean man was professional and reached a tiny details.. the shore is very clean and snorkeling/ diving was amazing .. the manager of the hotel was very nice gentlemen ..

Everything was perfect. Staff from Mr Herry, GM, manager of the property, kitchen team, specially the lady who was key in serving breakfast, lunch, dinner- she was amazing and highly talented woman. Reception was also good. Rohit in the Bar was excellent. Mishra served great break fast. Housekeeping team was nice. Boat team was wonderful.

They made the jet skies available (probably starting thos year) and I think this is in total contradiction with the spirit of this resort (you don’t come to this type of resort expecting to find swiming pools, motorized water sports and disco music).

Thot was my 5th time in Maldives and the second time on Dhawa Ihuru (when I was here the first time the name of the resort was Angsana Ihuru). It is a small island (45 rooms) with a beautiful house reef (you basically get out of your room and in 5-10 meters from the shore you’re surrounded by lots and lots of fish and you can see live corals, sharks, turtles and octopuses). The reefs looks better now than 2 years ago when I was here (their conservation work really paid off). The rooms are spacios and qnice and the bathrooms have outdoor showers. Every room has a very nice private outdoor area with a swing, a big round sunbed and the usual outside table with 2 chairs and 2 sunbeds. The food was good and varied with a lot of very tasty maldivian and asian dishes. A special mention to Siyaf, our host, who helped us with everything and gave us honest advice about extras. Another special mention to Shareef, our waiter, who remembered us from the last time we were there and cared for us in the same nice and unintrusive way. But all the people working here are so nice and helpful! Now I’m planning to return here next year! 😎

Perfect for us in every way. We wanted somewhere that could be reached by boat from Male which had great snorkelling, but without the ‘big resort’ feel. Ihuru is it…if that is also what you’re looking for! Our villa was in the perfect spot, sunset side, with a private garden, plenty of sun or shade depending on what we wanted, and 10m to the best bit if the reef. The staff are all great, Liusha in the restaurant and Amir who looked after our room especially. Service was perfect all around. Just one restaurant but alternating between buffet and a la carte, all the food was delicious and plenty of variety not to get bored within a week here. The main reason we chose Ihuru, the reef, is fantastic. We snorkelled 2-4 hours a day and every time we saw something new. You can also get the ferry to the sister island and snorkel there if you feel like a change.

Some design features of the new brand are questionable.

The staff is excellent. The house reef is amazing and ability to shuttle to a sister island expands options for underwater adventures. The villa was recently refreshed. All inclusive format is a great value.
