We didn't like the fact that we only stayed 16 nights...we should have booked for 26 nights.

From the moment we arrived at Male airport to be greeted by a Coco member of staff, to the 35 minute speed boat ride to the resort and everything for the 16 nights we spent in the resort exceeded our expectations in every respect. The attention to detail was mind blowing. The food and presentation was excellent. The snorkelling and diving straight off the beach was mesmerising. Not a single detail could have been better.

Yeah, hotel and Booking they didn’t tell us about if we have booked a full board without drinks, and also we are only having a full board only in one restaurant not on all the seven restaurants, and we also have to pay for damaged towel that is needed to clean our kid because there is no tissues enough in the porch, or in beside the bed.

We came to spend the vacation and celebrate our daughter one year birthday, we arrived through speed boat costs 227$ for 2 persons, we booked full-board but we found we don’t have inclusive  so we have only the full board from only one restaurant  and the other six restaurants are chargeable, and we have not seen this in the booking before reaching the resort, eventually, we end up paying for drinks on the full board, so the staff and the restaurants have made us a good experience. Amazing experience to to celebrate our daughter birthday؛  thanks jawad at Ali and mirgul for this amazing experience

Would be a better stay if there’s more frequent transportation from the rooms to the restaurants as it rains often during summer season. Needs more food variety as it’s mainly asian style food.

Everything was beyond perfect

From booking Coco to arriving on the island our experience was unbelievable. Salwa was our host and did an amazing job helping us with all our requests and sorted out everything for us. She truly made our trip that even more memorable. She explained everything at the start of our trip and gave us her WhatsApp to keep in contact and she regularly checked in with us showing that she takes care of all her guests. Celebrating my birthday she organised a special treat for us and even upgraded us from our originally booked water villa to Coco Residence which was out of this world. We can’t begin to thank her enough for her commitment to making our stay that little bit more special. Another shout out to Sirnivas. He kept us topped up with drinks, food and was very hospitable. He greeted us every morning and was always on hand during our time at Stars in the morning and evening. He really deserves special recognition at Coco he was fantastic. The resort itself is beautiful. A real oasis and not too much of a journey from Male but far enough to feel secluded. Coco residence villa was far better than expected and was very private. The food at air, stars and aqua was brilliant. Huge variety and enjoyable. Our first trip to the Maldives and hopefully not our last. We will definitely be staying at Coco again. Thank you so much to everyone at Coco you guys really do a fantastic job.

It’s truly paradise on earth, where humans and animals live in harmony, with the utmost respect for everyone at the resort. The service is impeccable and the views amazing. Amazing value for money as well. Can’t wait to go back :) thank you all for such an incredible time.

Butler was sick leave for a few days and no other butler assigned. Some parts of the room need repair.

The Ocean is beautiful, you can see different kinds of ocean creature around the resort. Room service twice a day. The food was good.

Maybe they could improve a little bit the lunch in the buffet restuarant. We felt sometimes the lunch had less alternatives than the dinner buffet.

From the moment they received us in the dock till the moment we leave this hotel it was a dream! . It has so many good things. To start the the food from the buffet was always great with a lot of options. We had dinner one night at Aqua restaurant!... it was amazing also!. The daily activities very good, karaoke!, movies at the beach by night!... all of them very good! We requested a sunset view villa over the water and that's what we got!... amazing view! Very good snorkeling area (ask for good places!) we had the opportunity to see turtles, stingrays and even a couple of sharks! beside hundreds of colorfoul fishes! The staff always with a smile on their faces ... we really appreciatte that! Special thanks to Nittu, who received us and was always concern about our needs and questions!!!..He had a really good vibe!... I recommend this resort !!

We would like to thank Coco Bodu Hithi for our well spent time here. Tharaka, the staff in charge of our stay, is very helpful. We wanted to go for a group fishing however we were the only couple available. Tharaka went the extra mile to ask other couple if they were interested and managed to arrange for one group fishing the following day. We stayed for 3 nights at Island Villa, 2 nights at Water Villa, and last night at Coco Residence. The transfer is smooth and Tharaka gave us early check in to the next room so that we dont have to wait till 2/3pm from the check out time at 12pm. The rooms were great and the view for all 3 rooms were very nice! Thank you Tharaka for the great arrangement! The housekeeping over at island villa was very nice. He, Emon, cleaned our room daily when we went for breakfast and topped up the bottled drinks daily. Hammadh was in charge of our transfer to Coco Residence as Tharaka wasnt working. He was very helpful and provided the best service and recommendations for our stay in CR. The in charge of our baggage, Iqbal we very helpful and even to our photo like a professional! The pictures turned out great! Thank you. The staff at Air restaurant were also very nice and helpful. Thanks to Ali, Aktar and one of the Pakistani chef for our great time thru out our breakfast and dinner there. The female staffs were also very attentive to our needs. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Coco Bodu Hithi. Surely we will come back again! Thank you!

Staff Reema was extremely helpful and took care of us all through the stay. We had two young kids and had a bunch of requirements which were all taken care of. Location is excellent and the snorkelling reefs are great just outside the villas.

we had breakfast and dinner included. for some reason they charged $5 for a plastic bottle of water if you get it with your dinner. They provide same bottle of water for free in villas. I understand that we didn’t have full board but still paying $5 for a plastic bottle of water is not appropriate. I noticed some guests brought water with them for dinner. I also checked prices for other activities. they were like 3-4 times what you pay in California! Washbasins and services were in need of some modernization for a 5 star hotel but still in working condition.

everything was perfect. This is an excellent resort for a relaxing holiday. Our host, Nazeesh, was a gentleman and took care of everything promptly. I should thank Ali in restaurant whom provided an excellent service and a lot of information about Maldives. I loved laughing yoga classes before sunset. Sunset view from restaurant was outstanding. Buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent with many high quality options to choose. They had a good selection of cocktails and wines in latitude.

We have been to another 5 star hotel at the maldives shortly before and we have to admit that the kindness and extreme service and heart felt dedication of the stuff was much more costumer oriented. At coco bodhu , everyone is nice, and some are SUPER nice (rejitha from the spa, restaurant manager,..) but it’s not the overly heartful service (besides the extra names we mentioned), that we experienced in other places. All in all though, an absolute recommendation still!

What was remarkable was the space in the villas (had both the beach villa and escape water villa). Also very nice that we got amazing cents there and the view over the ocean in the bedroom is rare. The buffet breakfast and dining was a pleasure and the Spa stuff (especially Rejitha) was amazing. The location of the island is further away than other hotels , but it’s worth it. The place where it’s located has a huge energy, immense beauty and privacy. We will definitely return!!

Every aspect was wonderful. Food, stay, ambience. every staff member was so humble and smiling and inspired happiness, to name a few, Mirgul, Taraka, Salma, Suresh (one of the cheff), Savias Prabhakaran....
