They were friendly, good food and they have a travel agency and provide tours so this is great if you want to visit arround. If you need transfer from Male they can provide this too, quick answers. It was a decent stay. Great sunsets on the island.

Staff were so helpful and friendly! Organised all the tours, guided snorkeling in the local reef from the beach and took great underwater footage! Room was basic, but a good size and had all the necessary amenities and the bathroom was very clean. Extra beach towel which was useful. Having someone stay on site at all times was very reassuring. Felt completely safe as a female travelling solo. Just a few minutes walk to the harbour, beach, restaurants and sunset views.

I’d like to commend Aroo and her brothers and also Hassan for their exceptional hospitality. The place was clean, and the room was just right for two people. The Maldivian food they served was good. I especially appreciated that they could arrange everything for us, from the speedboat airport transfers to excursions and many other activities. We really enjoyed the excursion, especially since it was just the two of us. They were very helpful, friendly, and excellent divers. The bikini beach is only a 7-minute walk away, and it’s a good idea to bring your own beach mat along with plenty of sunscreen. Also, don’t forget mosquito repellent, as there are some mosquitos. A big thank you to them for arranging a small birthday celebration with a cake for my husband—it was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, everything was perfect. Highly recommended—just keep in mind that it’s a local island, so don’t expect luxury.

Konut by Thakuru was an excellent choice! The location is fantastic, and the staff was incredibly attentive, always ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious, a perfect way to start the day. They also offer great program opportunities, making it easy to plan activities and get the most out of the trip.

Nothing really, as long as you do not expect ultra luxury, al la carte menus and alcoholic drinks not permitted on the island. We will return here as it provided all our needs at an affordable price.

We were so impressed with the friendly welcome at the port, feeling at home from the start, and being taken care of throughout our stay. We experienced the Maldivian culture and had pleasant interaction with local people on the island. If you prefer fine dining and 5 star hotel-type accommodation, then go to a private resort. We selected to stay in this establishment as it was affordable, we received personal attention and advice and our hosts were a pleasant Maldivian family, lovely to interact with. They even arranged a delightful chocolate cake for my wife’s birthday - free if charge! No need to worry about pre -arranged or expensive excursions as our hosts provided this to our needs, taking weather and sea tides into consideration. Gaadi tours is part of their family and provided an unforgettable experience to see dolphins, dive with sea turtles and view a coral garden with an astonishing glimpse of the most colourful tropical fish. They even captured picture and video recordings, using a drone and underwater camera. The images provided were amazing and stunning to share and relive the memories of this unforgettable trip.

The property is very clean and cosy. Close to the bikini beach (overall the island is small and completely walkable). Breakfast was included and we also got to try the local Maldivian breakfast- all home cooked and clean. We had a buggy transportation for our luggage to & from the port and the property and they also helped us book the speedboat to Malé.They also greet you personally at the port to receive you 🙂 Ms. Aroo was the kindest host and organised our excursions as well as took care of giving us all the necessary information for the stay and trips. The excursions are managed by Gaadi Tours, which is exclusive to the home stay, so you get to do the trips only with the rest of the house guests- so it’s very comfortable. Gadi was a great guy who made us feel so much at ease with the open water swimming in deeper waters and we were mesmerised by the corals, swimming with the turtles, underwater water photography as well as visiting the beautiful sandbank during low tide. What a memorable experience for life ♥️ And lastly, Hassan who is the caretaker of the property was the most kindest soul who took care of your stay. It felt like we were staying with our family with all the warmth, kindness and attention. Highly recommend!

We liked everything: - price vs. quality ratio - friendly and supportive personnel (Ali and Hassan did their best to make sure we had a perfect stay). Best service I've ever seen - location (not far from the bikini beach) - excursions available directly from the hotel (the guides are professional) - free coffee, tea, water, shampoo, towels, hairdryer, etc

Its a guesthouse run by family, Which you know you’re taken care of as the whole family looks after it. They have arraged everything for me.. like literally! it was really a less stress as a solo traveler. The hosts, food and place, all really are amazing, it was a 3 day trip only but the family made sure that I was comfortable and at home. My snorkeling trip was great too! i feel like I’ve rented my own private activities! and don’t worry for solo travelers my guides were really amazing and respectful! I’m happy on my stay and so much appreciated this family for their business! Shukria!

KONUT is a family run small guesthouse with a cozy appearance. From the moment we made the booking, all our questions were answered quickly and also at the time of arrival they picked the luggage from the harbour. The breakfast was diverse and made with a lot of care, the housekeeper was always around and took really good care of anything. Room was spacious and comfortable although I would supply more sockets for electricity. Wifi was good and it is on a walkable 5 minutes distance from the Bikini beach which is a beautiful quiet white sandy beach with sandbank. The owner invited us for his Birthday Cake celebration which was a welcoming surprise. The island is still developing and there is a lot of construction going so soon it will be full of tourists! We thank the family for good support and excellent stay.

Anis was an amazing host. From the moment we set foot on the pier in Guraidhoo harbor he helped make our stay truly memorable. Both Anis and his sister Aru (hope I am spelling this right) are truly generous and welcoming people, and have made a beautiful, peaceful guesthouse that is perfect for spending several days. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The AC works great. The WiFi is the best we have had in the Maldives, and you always have access to an abundance of water, coffee, tea at all hours of the day. Breakfast is simple yet nice. Ask for the mashuni roshi! In addition to making us feel right at home, Anis was able to provide useful local information about the local surf breaks, currents, weather, as well as willing to help us arrange excursions like scuba diving or fishing. They also have some snorkeling gear that you can rent for a small fee. Our only regret is that we wish we had tried more of Aru's cooking during our stay. The one dinner we had with reef fish and biryani was really tasty and we would recommend.

The staff was very nice, they're trying everything to make your stay comfortable. The handmade breakfast was good. The public area is not too bad, nice and cute, a lot of mosquitoes tho. The room is nice, a little bit old, but it's clean and big. I got an extra night shark tour from the staff, very nice!

5 minute walk to the beach in the sun 😅🥵 (I’m just lazy😆)

I have enjoyed every bit of our stay at Konut. The food is freshly prepared by the lovely Aroo, she is an amazing host. You can eat a real Maldivian breakfast here, but continental is also possible. Gaadi has great excursions, he is the most friendly and helpful person. We were taken care for amazingly! We even got mosquito bite spray and sunscreen from them 😊 The beach is a 5 minute walk. The room was nice, great airco (temperatures outside felt like 40+ degrees). This guesthouse is SO cozy, you will feel like home quickly! If I ever go back to Guraidhoo, I will surely come to this exact place. I have 0 complaints, it was PERFECT! 🤩 don’t hesitate, BOOK HERE! Thank me later 👋

The island is not so good maintained. Lots of old water bottles and cans everywhere. Nearby Island available on foot filled with garbage and old toilet bins (counted at least 10). Someone should started caring about the island and not only the tourist beach.

The hotel is nice and clean. Run by a local family, it's a chance to get to know the local traditions and culture better.
