Our stay was wonderful. We would like to thank all the hotel staff for their cordiality and engagement. We received a large room with a comfortable bathroom, cleaned every day. Air conditioning worked perfectly. The food was very good, we recommend fresh juices! A quiet place, worth recommending for rest.

That the property isn't beachfront as was written in the description. It's close to the beach, about 150 m from the beach. There isn't sea view from any balcony or any point from the hotel. From the balcony I had a view of a local soccer playground and volleyball ball ground. Breakfast could be better. Eggs (fried) were cold. Not really tropical fruits, only water melon, apple, orange, bananas

The guesthouse itself is beautiful, very relaxing and with a nice garden where you can enjoy meals, position is also great very close to bikini beach, kindness of the people working in the guesthouse, they were amazing with us make us feeling at home.

Nothing really

The location. The staff are amazing and super helpful. The Manager Ali went out of his way above and beyond to make sure our trip was wonderful after a horrible hiccup by Singapore Airlines that literally screwed up the 50th bday party for my good friend. He was amazing . Everything about the resort was amazing. There are nearby Chinese and western restaurants if you wish to have a change in food. Also kudos to the resort’s snorkelling guide and boat driver who was 10/10.

The hot water pressure in the bathroom could be stronger. Since I don't like to use the air conditioning at night, it would be nice to have a mosquito net on at least one window.

We spent 10 days at Quicksand and they were wonderful. It is next to the bikini beach. The room was very spacious with exit to the garden, cleaned every day. Whatever we needed, it was always at our disposal. The breakfast place, hammocks and reception are super nice. The staff was always helpful and friendly. Ali, the manager Sameer and his wife Marina, made our stay a 10. We also went with them to Todhoo and it was a delight, as well as another excursion with Suzain which was spectacular. We were delighted on our last day with a Maldivian dinner accompanied by a live Maldivian music and dance group, which was the cherry on the cake of the trip. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience!!!! From the moment you arrive in Male everything it’s organized by them. You don’t have to worry for anything. The staff it’s amazing and polite and everytime there if you need something. The rooms are big and clean. The food it’s tasty ❤️ very close to the bikini beach and a lot of activities with Suzein ( the guide) - snorkeling with manta, sharks, turtules and many more🌸 the locals are very polite🎈Also the fauna from this island it’s amazing, you can see extraordinary animals 🐠the internet it’s working very well and I recomand that to have cash 💵 with you because you can find nice souvenirs shops with very nice stuff on the island. Many thanks to Sameer, Ali, Suzain and the rest of the staff ❤️ we really enjoyed our staying and for sure we are coming back

All was perfect

Very kind personnel, explained everything we needed to know upon our arrival and carried our luggage on our arrival and departure. They are open to any inquiry or request. Large rooms with air conditioner, clean and beds very confortable. The hotel is located at two minutes walking to one of the best bikini beaches of the Maldives and at every room entrace they have a faucet to clean your feet and flip flops. Breakfast highly recommended too!

They do not have snorkeling equipment. Water in bathroom smells really badly.

Quicksand is nice place to stay on Rasdhoo. Host is very kind. The apartment is few meters far from the beach. Breakfast is good, you can choose toasts, buns, eggs, fruits and also maldivian breakfast.

Nothing-everything was fine

It was very nice spend our holidays on Quicksand Rashdoo. Staff is very helpful- when we had a problem with something, they always supported us with solutions (our friend had accident- Staff gave us cure for and advised what we should made-thank you one again for that) Rashdoo island beach is very beautiful place- it is like a paradise on Earth, amazing water and etc. We recommended this hotel everybody-Ali always help you with everything.

Rasdhoo is a small island where you can't get lost. you get a beautiful cultural experience and also the ideal idea of Maldives. Quicksand makes the holiday magical. The menager Ali with other stuff takes perfect care of you from the moment you step on the island to the moment you leave. There is allways someone from the staff around to help you with everything and they give you a little tour at your arrivel. The rooms are big and clean and the breakfast is delicious. The beach is just a few steps away. We really recomend it.

What we missed were a toilet brush, a shower curtain, and perhaps a decorative throw for the bed so that we wouldn’t have to sit directly on the bedding. Our TV didn’t have a remote control, which we reported, and Ali tried to sort it out. In the end, they couldn’t find one, but we didn’t really need it anyway.

Had an amazing time during our holiday at Quicksand! Ali and his team are top-notch hosts; they were super kind and helpful. They picked us up when we arrived and handled our luggage to the hotel. The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Bikini Beach, located at an intersection, making it easy to find. Every morning, we were greeted with a simple yet delicious breakfast, typically consisting of bread, eggs, pancakes, butter, jam, fruit, cold cuts or sausages, and beans, along with juice and hot water for coffee or tea. We had frequent company during breakfast from an adorable orange cat, Ginger :-) (There are many very friendly cats on the island). There were organized activities that guests could join, and every evening at 7 PM, the organizers were in the shared courtyard to discuss plans with those interested (such as turtle watching, ray watching, shark watching, snorkeling, sandbank picnics, etc.). Our accommodation was an air-conditioned room with a private bathroom. With all the sand around, we really appreciated the foot-washing hose by the entrance! We had a ceiling fan, fridge, towels, and basic toiletries in the bathroom. The island is a local residential island, not a resort. So, if someone comes here expecting the same as in resort photos, they might be disappointed. This is where the locals live, so there are small shops, buildings under construction, or sometimes empty plots, and yes, unfortunately, some trash too, though they do their best to keep it organized and cleaned up. You can hear the call to prayer five times a day on the island - most shops have three different opening times (though restaurants didn’t close during prayer time). It’s respectful to follow local dress codes, but no one will penalize you if you don’t manage to do so as a tourist. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful to us. This was one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed and one of the best holidays of our lives, largely thanks to Ali and the Quicksand staff!

Breakfast could include some other staff, such as vegetables and more fruits. Fresh juices would be preferable instead of the current orange juice offered. Fried eggs or omelletes would be a good addition to the boiled egg.
