United Arab EmiratesWhat could be improved: bed and mattress are very very soft and like with holes in the middle (because those are old or used a lot), I had lower back pain every morning. Secondly, as humidity level is high, pillows and blanket are having mold/humidity bad smell.
Great staff; great location; great view from room terrace. We really enjoyed the excursions which were offered from the hotel, very helpful reception and staff. You can get beach towels from hotel, and buggy tour around the island for free. They will also pick you up&drop by the speedboat on arrival/departure for free. Overall facilities were okay, very good for the price. We walked around the island a lot and saw many other guest houses, those looked very sad. So Reef EDGE is definetly one of the top 3 mini hotels on this island :) We havent had breakfast as it was not really our menu, and its fine.

Malaysianothing not to like - just that a beach front area for sun bathing would be perfect as need to go nearby bikini beach for that.
A good location overlooking the sea and 3 minutes from bikini beach. Breakfast was simple and adequate enough to make one happy. Staff were very helpful and thank you to Sharoof, Shariff and Kavitha and others for making our stay very pleasant . Within 200 metres, many restaurants too so we have many options for food.

Netherlands- breakfast was too simple and could have some more options. They have a lot of sweet items and standard meat options that do not vary and little ‘fresh’ options. - I found the bed (mattress) to be too soft, resulting in back ache. My wife did not have this. - the manager did not do anything for our honeymoon while having asked for this twice
- location was very good, very close to the beach - staff very helpful and supportive - transport to and from the hotel went smoothly - bikes and snorkling gear available without costs - breakfast was fairly good, would like to see some more variation - room was clean - price / quality was good

SpainJust fantastic, it felt like home, thank you so much to all the team, from the beginning with Reesha, you were so helpful and made it so easy arranging the arrival, and with Sharoof collecting us and organizing a great stay, and all the team helping every day, we could just not ask for more, thank you! The last day we were leaving, our boat was departing very late and we were offered to stay in the room without extra charge until we left, it was life saving for us to enjoy the last day in the island without problems. It is a little hotel with the best views looking out to the sea, just beside Coke's surf break, couldn't be closer and just at the start of Bikini beach. The whole crew was always ready to help, to drive us down to sunset beach, to arrange any excursion we were interested in, best restaurant suggestions,... Breakfast was lovely, we would always get eggs baked for breakfast and all other options available. Rooms were always cleaned and towels given and nice cold water replaced daily. The atmosphere at the hotel was very special.

United KingdomWi-Fi crashed a little on the last day in the room, which I needed for checking in for my flight etc, but was fine in the reception area. These things happen though. A bathroom mat would be good to use when getting out of the shower, so as not to slip so much
Fantastic location, with all rooms having a sea view. Just a quick walk to the nearest bikini beach, and a number of restaurants. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. The rooms were cleaned well and had everything we needed. Good selection for breakfast. Sadly did not use the restaurant for dinner, purely because my daughter is extremely fussy, which limits her options of choice

FrancePrice is expensive for rooms on the first floor, which do not have a great view as the stair is just in front and blocks the sea view. The size of the room is a bit small. I had to shorten my stay and stay 3 nights less than planned for external reasons and no gesture was made to refund any night or to compensate part of it.
The location of the hotel is great, just next to the gorgeous bikini beach, with lots of restaurants around. The surroundings are very quiet and the place is relaxing, with a beautiful garden. The breakfast was good. Personnel is nice and attentive, they lent me a yoga mat, which was very appreciated (for yogis, there are great yoga spots near the hotel) and they also helped me with the speedboat to go to the airport. The hotel is very clean. It is easily accessible from the airport, only 30 minutes with speedboat.

The guesthouse is round the corner from the bikini beach- approx 2minute walk so really close but away from all the busy-ness. We had a lovely view of the sea from our room. Sharoof and all of the staff were amazing- friendly, helpful & laid back. Highly recommend taking advantage of the free snorkelling and bikes. The Maldivian breakfast and omelettes were excellent and we had the best time. Nothing was too much of a problem and we felt so comfortable staying there. Thank you everyone!

Switzerlandthey advertise the deluxe room with pictures of a room with windows on two sides which makes the room much brighter. unfortunately there's only two of these top floor rooms like that but you pay the same price for all the rooms, we researched in advance and were opting for one of these rooms and to our disappointment, we did get one of the middle rooms with only front window. so they advertising these rooms in a misleading way. according to the manager on site, customers where complaining about this before and assured us, that he'd inform the reservation team about these misleading photos. although he could not help us with changing the room - due to fully booked hotel - he took our concern seriously and offered us free tour or dinner to compensate our disappointment - so very well customer care on site, thanks again.

We had a good time for two nights at Reefedge. The rooms were nice and clean. The highlight was the view of our rooms from the top floor. The location was good not busy as the hotel was at the end of the tourist/bikini beach. Staff provided friendly service. They answered a lot of my questions before our arrival. The Assistant manager was helpful. The buggy driver drove us everywhere. We enjoyed walking along the beach in front of the hotel interacting with the locals. We enjoyed the bird called “Cookie” who wanted to keep walking with us despite the owner tried to persuade Cookie to go home. The dream beach and the sunset beach were very beautiful. We took a shark and stingray tour (us$ 44 each for 4 people) with the hotel. The tour boat went back near Male. We spotted two medium-sized sharks swim naturally and many fishes (no feeding). Then at the other spot, a lot of stingrays and fishes came for the food given by the guide. There were not many high-rise hotels on the beach at Thulusdhoo. So that was good.
