I booked for sea view room, I got 1st floor, view was blocked by trees, waste of money……bad wifi connection, wifi getting disconnected every 5 minutes…..

Not too much variety for breakfast and dinner . I choosed breakfast , lunch and dinner included but I would skip lunch next time because there is many options around the hotel and good prices . Dinner and Breakfast with very few options and always the same .

Staff was warm and friendly right from reaching the jetty , over at the restaurants, room service, front desk staff and those handling the tours..Rooms were huge and clean.Rooms boast beautiful views of the public beach and plankton beach. Lots of restaurants and supermarket nearby.

Food is not so good, maybe fair for the money you pay but I truly believe it can be improved even more when it is announced as 4 start hote, so expectations are higher.

The location, not really beachfront and far from the bikini beach. Infinity pool is underwhelming, with a construction in the side so it is exposed and not relaxing.

Even though the food is good, the breakfast is quite heavy. It would be good to have healthier options. I would not recommend booking the half pension as Maafushi has many restaurant options. There was a bad smell coming from the toilet.

Hotel staff are very nice, always willing to help us with a friendly smile! The hotel is great, comfortable in a great location close to the bikini beach. The pool is also great with an amazing view! They offer very nice excursions with great guides. İn this regard, a special thanks to Murat, who showed us turtles, sharks and took so many nice pics of us. I also loved the DJ night!

View from the room (building site) Hotel charged us extra for my partners breakfast because we booked a double room and guests stated was 1 (didn't notice that Booking.com default the number of guests to "1" instead of "2" for a double room. Even though we showed the hotel was the same price with guests = '2', they wouldn't waiver the additional charge.

For breakfast more vegetables would be great. A lot of noise from closing neighbor’s doors. All towels need to be changed for new one. I was also a bit confused with sun beds, because you need to ask for them at the reception every time before going to the beach, and most of the time I had been waiting for it appx an hour. For other hotels they were already available, but because of Triton location it makes difficulties to provide sunbed on time. Also for other hotels umbrella was included, unfortunately not for us. It is not crucial, but could be improved for smoother sunbathing experience.

Location of the hotel 5 min from the bikini beach. Breakfast was pretty good, but nothing special. Staff are amazing, always smiling and ready to help. Very clean rooms, cleaning was every day.

Communication before and during our stay was terrible. It ruined some experiences for us, so for your stay I wouldn’t recommend visiting Triton. Underneath are some examples why. Before when arranging the boat transfer from Male. I don’t know why they don’t let you arrange it beforehand, until 24 hours before. But what happens next is that they don’t proactively contact you to confirm your transfer that you clearly stated before, let alone reply on multiple messages through the day. It made us very nervous of the transfer would be arranged or not. During our stay, checking in time was wrongly communicated (so we returned from the beach too early), activity starting time was way too late. Once on the boat towards shark bay the music blasted so loud I got a headache from it, they did lower it once I asked for it. And as a cherry on top, the evening at 19:00 before leaving we arranged our boat transfer back to Male. At 21:20 when we were sleeping for our early check out they called us that the boat was leaving 30 minutes earlier. I can’t imagine that that was new information. And of course the boat DIDN’T leave earlier. So all in all, it was not worth it.

Beautiful room and beautifully decorated bed because of our honeymoon, the hotel also offers sunbeds on bikini beach (5-10 min walk) that look most comfy in comparison to other sunbeds. They offer activities through the reception.

There was no snorkelling masks in hotel but in most of hotels there you can take for free but here they said that we have to rent, asked for change the room they said that will manage tomorrow but just forgot about it. Sometimes they have parties so be ready to hear music until 11 pm. The fridge is not working ! Take about 100$ more for all taxes after all just for three days

Breakfast is buffet. Location is nice just infront of the local beach. Staffs were very accomodating receptionists were very nice and accomodating. They made a surprise birthday set up in my room. They had a dinner party every Sundays which is really cool. Pool is small but amazing view. Very clean and friendly staffs. Strong wifi connection. Highly recommended to stay in Maafushi.

Breakfast options could have been better- it was quite limiting and all days more or less the same. Also, there are special DJ nights from time to time and the music is painfully loud even when you are in your bed. They stop around 11 pm so that was good! Even better if: we had to pay 15 USD for the beach (optional, but without an umbrella you will be a tomato within 30 mins), would have been nice if Triton provides umbrellas as other hotels in this area. Minor :)

It is a great choice if you particularly want to stay at Maafushi. The location is great, and the infinity pool is a great asset. The staff was super helpful and warming, that was probably the highlight :) The room itself was okay and most importantly: clean. And the pick up/drop off worked out perfectly!

The pool was awesome, the staff very very friendly and caring. the view from our room was superb. It was daily cleaned with fresh towels. The food was good compared to other restaurants. The placement of the hotel is good as you have loads of shops around and the beach near. Also they are providing a lot of tours which are nice and at a good price. The people that gave us the tour were really fun.

Hotel room doors are closing very fast from wind and it is very noisy. On a floor you hear everyone going in and out the room, such a big slam that was woking us up every night. Bikini beach is 3-4 min walk from the hotel, no direct access. However hotel provides beach beds on a bikini beach

Very friendly staff, ready to help, food is good, dinner buffet menu for a good price. Rooms are clean, very comfortable, room make up every day.
