It was well laid out. Very attentive staff. Rooms were well equipped and very clean. Good choice on the food menu .

NetherlandsIt was a bit difficult to find the hotel. Make sure you don't blindly follow google maps because it might send you up an impossible to drive dirt road. There is a paved road up to the hotel.
Very nice hotel in Mulanje. Probably one of the best in the area with a nice view. Definitely high standard for Malawi. We stayed here before climbing the mountain. Staff was kind enough to let us leave our luggage since we'd be climbing the mountain for a couple of days. Especially, the food manager was amazing! He accommodated all our requests and was even kind enough to specially prepare food for us. They didn't have iced tea in stock, so he made it freshly for us. He even cooked an amazing Sri Lankan 4 course meal for us (which wasn't on the menu) because we expressed interest. He made us one of the best curry we've ever had. If you're in Mulanje you should at the very least stop by for the food.

Memorable view of Mulanje peak and mountainside forest. Serene atmosphere. Baboons visit occasionally. Competent, friendly staff. Decent breakfast with fresh fruit offered. Good coffee.

AustraliaBathroom was a bit tired but fine. Security light outside the room was very bright at night, even with the curtains closed. They were unable to isolate individual lights, so on the second night they removed the bulb.
Beautiful setting, couple of nice walks, great view for sundowners, room was comfortable and clean, friendly staff. Good base for exploring the Mulanje area.

United KingdomThe booking.com ad says there is a pool, but the pool was out of service. The pool was one of the reasons I chose this place so it was a bit disappointing.
The view from the room was incredible and the food in the restaurant was really nice. There were two guys playing guitar in the bar area in the afternoon which was so great. Simple check in and plenty of parking.

South AfricaNo hot water and even after running the water for 30 minutes there was still no warm water, but the manager defiantly claimed I did not run the water long enough. Then the power was cut and for a long time no backup generator. We checked out and demanded a refund.
