This is a very comfortable and quiet hotel with extraordinarily nice staff. The room is spacious and the bathroom very clean with hot water for the shower. The breakfast is prepared to your order and is delicious. We had a problem with the taxi we had booked ourselves and were about to miss our departure flight, so one of the staff members kindly took us to the airport and saved our day.

I think it’s not about the hotel in itself but rather Lilongwe, there is not much to see or do. I guess two nights are definitely enough 😝

The room was great, they have good mosquitoes net which are needed as there is plenty of mosquitoes. The breakfast that was included in the price is huge and delicious. They can cook for you dinner, very practical as there is not much around and it’s not recommended for woman to walk alone at night. They even help me with the Letter of Invitation that was needed for my visa, they were really responsive. They help me as well to get to the bus stop and told me about the schedule. It’s more like a home.

The house is an older one, so certain portions need to be renovated. However just managing your expectations is important because it is a family home and they do stay on the property.

This is a cosy and comfortable family run guesthouse in the heart of Lilongwe. When my sister and I arrived outside, I was slightly skeptical because it didn’t look like a typical accommodation. However, it turned out to be better than the average hotel. John and his family went out of their way to ensure that our stay was nothing short of fantastic. They allowed us flexible check out and to even use their kitchen. The room itself was massive- with a powerful air conditioner, walk in closet and hot shower. The vegetarian breakfasts they prepared were delicious. The WiFi was very good. Even though we didn’t stay long (only two nights), I would definitely return.

The air con in our first room was really noisy. Buy we were happy to leave the window open so the room was still cool

Room was spacious and had a private bathroom. It was cleans and bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was good and was served to the time we required. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. They arranged all our transport to the airport on two occasions. Overall I was happy with our stay. Hopefully stay again when we visit Malawi
