United StatesStaff was rude. Only had one good staff member named Carlos in the Mexican restaurant. Couldn’t make reservations for restaurants ahead of time only one reservation at a time 24 hours in advance. The buffets were awful. Long lines to even get into the dining where buffet was then the food was terrible. Drinks were watered down including sodas. Room service took an hour+ To get. Stayed at this resort for 7 days and had to ask 4 times to get our room cleaned and trash taken before anyone ever came. Had the room cleaned ONCE in 7 days after begging and placing our trash outside our door. Paid for premium level to get the better services and still got treated like garbage and minimal service. Not worth the price upgrade. Room flooded and took 3 days before anyone would come to help us clean it up. Had 4 towels to clean it with and then were told we couldn’t get anymore towels. If you don’t speak Spanish DO NOT go to this resort. Had to use google translator entire time as the staff did not understand any language besides Spanish.
The beach was nice. Limited chairs on beach and had to pay for an umbrella.

United StatesThere was roaches in my room. The sheets were rough. I had to go to the front desk for tissue. Towels, coffee, and the ac didn’t work in one of our rooms. It rained and the balcony flooded and the rain came into the room. They served the same food all week long. The staff was rude they kept trying to sit us in the hot sun for breakfast. United StatesThe food was not that great. Especially the Mexican food. We ate at the Mexican restaurant mid week and it made all of us sick for the remainder of the stay. I was expecting the Mexican cuisine to be top notch and it was disappointing. The snack bar was also not good. Breakfast was the best, but it’s hard to mess up breakfast.
The beach was great. The 3 pool options were nice! The family villa was good.

United Kingdom1. The food was awful in all 4 of the restaurants. We had one good meal at the Mexican restaurant and a passable meal at the seafood restaurant. There was no variety of seafood. There was a lot of food but lacking in quality. 2. The place was generally run down and the rooms desperately need updating. The windows were not clean so we couldn’t enjoy the view. There were tiles missing in the pool bar. I would not recommend this if you want a classy hotel.

United StatesThe food.we had premium service and couldn’t get water soda and beer put in our refrigerator, one time it took 3 days. I had to keep goi g to the premium lounge myself. I am diabetic and needed the soda during the night for sugar lows. I felt like I did their work running around daily to fill it on my own. The food was the same everyday. No pico either.

BelizeMy air conditioning wasn’t working from the first day and I advised but wasn’t given any help we were sweating horribly, next day we begged all day for help and until the evening I went back to the front desk to be told room needed maintenance because even the toilet wasn’t working. I was upgraded to a great room it was beautiful but the next day the key didn’t work after our tour and has to go back downstairs to get assistance, in both rooms minibar wasn’t stacked and we gave up at that point. It was a nightmare room experience for what we paid!!! Also we were lied to about our discount on our tour by one of the staff and we spent half day listening to a presentation for no reason because of this lie. Don’t let them offer you a discount on your tour because it’s a trick to get you to buy into their vacation club which was what happened to us, you get the same price online. I think once they charge your card you’re on your own.

ColombiaFacilities are a bit old and some of them seem to be without maintenance and some cases damaged. Besides, when I made the reservation some pictures were given where a balcony was included and this alternative was more expensive and I decided for it considering I wanted the best for my family. However, when we arrived in the hotel we received the cheapest one and without balcony. As they explained, it seems there is a "misunderstanding" between what booking offers and what the hotel does. They offered an option but it could not be reviewed it because we got out in the early morning and got back to the hotel late at night. So that, we decided to stay in the room we received.
Most of the people in the staff were kind and warm. Food was not bad but not good enough.

ChileThe drinks are awful. They use the worst quality spirits and juices. Forget about "natural" drinks, they are all artificial and cheap. The buffet food is Ok but if you want to eat good in one of the 2 restaurants they have, you need to make a reservation daily in the lobby from 7am to 8am before the spots are occupied, so you have to wake up early in your vacations, I hated that. The beach is awesome, but they don´t have sunshade at the beach so you can´t really enjoy the beach. The swimming pools are great though.

United States1. Staff was UNHELPFULL. I left my phone in a taxi, which had all the confirmation emails. The lady at the hotel could not explain the process clearly to me. She had an attitude and clearly was not getting that I was stressed because I didn't have a phone. Plus, my daughter got sick on the airplane. It did not bother the staff that a toddler was sick, so they should help out the customer! I booked a room with four adults and paid for it too. However, on the booking.com search bar, I had initially searched for two adults and one child, but then I went to the next page, selected a room with four adults, and paid for it. Even then, they charged us an extra $165.00 for my 7-year-old child. 2. Cleaning room. I had to call and ask for cleaning two times to clean my room the next day by 4 o'clock when it was not done. I saw cleaning ladies cleaning other rooms; upon asking for our room cleaning schedule, they showed me their list of rooms, which did not include my room. I had to pay them an extra tip to clean up my room. 3. Food was mediocre. The variety of food was tasteless. There were not many options for vegetarians or vegan families. The staff was not aware of the ingredients of the food. 4. Staff kept trying to show different properties for making appointments to eat at the Mexcian restaurant and Italian restaurant. These two restaurants should have been included for "All-inclusive customers." We had a hard time eating the same food for three days there. Although each day had a different theme, "NOT" really. It was the same food with one or two different ingredients. Highly disappointed. 5. Drinks. We don't drive alcohol. However, moc drinks were tasteless and watered down. It was very disappointing! 5. NO shaded area on the beach. There were NO shaded sitting options Needless to say, we will NOT be coming to this resort.

CanadaVery bland food. Everything tasted like a bad microwave dinner. The pressure in our shower would randomly slow to a trickle multiple times in a few minutes, making it very hard to shower. We asked for a king bed but got two fulls, which a couple cannot easily or comfortably sleep in. We both got violently ill from the food after just one dinner. The other guests were playing their own music VERY loudly on portable speakers as they drunkenly and half naked walked around the resort. If you’re looking for actual relaxation, decent food and accommodations go somewhere else.
They agreed to give us a refund and we checked out within 12 hours of being there. We’ll see if I actually ever get that refund. The check in was smooth and explained well, and the manager compassionate and understand of how sick we got. The staff was very kind, only saving grace.

I had such a fantastic time during my recent stay at hotel Tucancun. The food, pool and entertainment were excellent. The staff were also so friendly which I particularly appreciated as a solo female traveller. They put me at ease as it was my first time staying in a hotel alone. I’d like to mention the company of Vicente in the Italian restaurant on my first night (making sure I had plenty of wine and chatting to me so I didn’t feel awkward!) and also Jair with the karaoke (providing an enthusiastic duet partner) and being very patient teaching me some dance moves at the pool!! I will definitely be returning as I had such a wonderful time!
