The breakfast is sparse but we didn’t mind - I just wish they had a coffee pot to brew our own coffee (only instant coffee) and free drinking water, which they didn’t. As mentioned by others it’s a bit far from the center, but that was OK with us, it seems easier to get an Uber than taxi in that area. All in all the stay was excellent for the price!

Great staff, clean area, and lots of common areas with seating. There was an issue with our first room, so they upgraded us free of charge which was very nice and much appreciated. Also they have bikes for rental and he gave us one free day due to the length of our stay which was so useful and made going into the center significantly faster. The beds were comfy and our second room had a TV.

Bathroom a little tatty but it is hostel style and value for money. To go into town it is about 20mins fast walking, but to be more central would cost more and more difficult for parking.

For city accommodation it was quiet. Its cheap and cheerful and there is off street parking available.

The breakfast is basically not existent. You get literally 2 slices of toast bread and a coffee.

Pool was empty which was a shame. There was a small crack near air con unit so mosquitos could come in so we had to wear deet at night. It is quite far from centre 25-35 minute walk and no good bus connections so worth considering.

Big comfortable room with everything you needed - first room in Mexico in fact to have air con which was nice surprise. Friendly staff who got room ready ahead of 3pm check in for us and helped with Amazon parcel delivery. Well equipped kitchen and nice surprise of free coffee and bread in morning.

The only negative thing is the location. It is 20 min walk to the historical city centre. The area felt safe but as a solo female traveler, I was worried to go back to the hotel after 10.00PM.

The room was spacious and very quiet. The A/C was very strong and working perfectly. I had a pleasant stay.

A bit far from the center. After 23 o clock the front door is locked. We had to wake up the poor, friendly guy from the reception to let us in and again at 4 o clock in the morning to let us out (to take an early flight). The owner should give out keys to the guests, I felt sorry for the guy we had to wake up twice.

It’s a little bit far from city centre.

Our room has a lot of space. Their staffs are super friendly and nice. This place also provides coffee and simple breakfast in the morning.

They don't offer drinkable water. Merida is a very very hot city, so have to pay for water in an hostel is a bit annoying. Besides that, we pass 2 months in Mexico and that one is the only that doesn't offer drinkable water

Anything I needed they went out of their way to help with. plenty of nice comfortable seating in common areas indoors and out. several refrigerators to store your food and drinks, and sinks to clean up after cooking in the different buildings.

The location was bit out of the way (30 min walk to most things) and the walls were very thin so you could hear any movement/noise made from other guests. The bathroom and bedding could use a little TLC - overall everything was clean, but the towels/bedding had some marks on them.

The staff were very kind, helpful, and attentive. The location, while a bit off the main road, felt safe and secure. The wifi was fast and the room/bathroom were big (we stayed in a double room with a private bathroom). We had access to a fridge and fresh coffee in the mornings provided by the hostel.

For hot water you need to wait, usual in Yucatan. On the bed kind of protection (foil?) you can hear every move.

Good value for money in Merida. A little aside. Hot water (not at once). Simple breakfast - toast, jam, coffee. In separate room there are one king-size bed and one single - also quite big. Clean an spacious Parking on site.

It was easy to hear other people in the other rooms. So if you are sensitive to sound, it may not be a good fit.

My toilet did leak my last morning. The included breakfast was 2 slices of cheap white bread and a butter and jam, covered over on the plate in the fridge. Then you gotta use another plate after you toast it, and you can't spread the butter because it's ice cold. It's a little thing but I think prepare it in the morning so it's not ice cold and a piece of fruit extra would be a huge improvement. Location is not right in the center... But you can get an Uber late from center to the hostel for 60-70pesos (3-4€) so that's good.

The staff here are so lovely and warm, very happy to pass on advice and help out anyway they can. I took a double room and it was a great size with a separate closet, firm mattress, window to outside with mosquito netting. There were no mosquitos in the room itself. It was great value! Huge washing machine and dryer are also fantastic facilities that I was hugely grateful for.

We got in at around 930 pm and went straight to bed without looking around the room first.The hot water was broken. The room was filthy. There was dirty dishes and food left in the communal room and what appears to be fecal matter on the walls. We asked 2 time for hot water to be fixed to no avail and left within 13 hours of arrival to go to another place. So far no money back.

The place is really nice. There was a shared kitchen, dining room and bath room, well equipped and decorated. The owner made us feel welcome by filling the pool with fresh water. We highly recommend it!
