Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe only downside of that room is that the bathroom can get very hot and steamy due to poor ventilation. Lastly, it’s important to note that the B&B doesn’t have A/C.
The property is beautiful and unique. It is very homey, but also you feel like a guest at the same time. All the staff, from Thomas the owner to the desk staff (and bartenders) to the breakfast staff are excellent and warm. The room we stayed in, Amber, was great and comfortable.

United StatesThe shower head needs to be adjusted or replaced -- not a big deal.
We loved our stay at Casa Comtesse. We stayed in the Colibri room. It was a spacious, corner room with art deco furniture, a very comfortable bed and views onto the courtyard. The bathroom was also a good size and had lots of sunlight. There was lots of hot water and the towels were great. There is no air conditioning. That was fine with us, as an excellent oscillating fan is provided, but folks who get really hot at night might not be ok. I was able to peek into a room next to ours and it was lovely as well. This room had the bathroom across the hall, something I never thought I would consider, but seeing how close and nice the bathroom is, I would not hesitate to stay in this room as well. The staff was incredibly nice and there was always someone at the front desk to answer questions and assist with any issues. The breakfasts were lovely, as were the ladies who cooked them. A different special was offered every morning and dietary adaptations were accommodated. There was always fresh fruit and juice and pastries as well. It was fun meeting other guests around the breakfast table. The other public spaces are beautiful and light filled as well. We enjoyed sitting in the plant filled courtyard with a beer one evening. (There is a full bar and fridge filled with beverages from which guests can serve themselves and a free, fun mescal tasting was included with our stay). The B&B is about a 10 minute walk from the subway (which was fun to use) and you can purchase and fill your metro card from a machine directly across the street in the bus top. La Condesa is a beautiful neighborhood and great for walking at any time of the day or night.

United StatesOur room ceiling was a little low for my partner who is tall, and didn't have AC which some people may not be used to. But they gave us fans and the large windows looking out to the courtyard was amazing.
Casa Comtesse was a beautiful serene space that is full of characters, art, and personality. The daily breakfast was fantastic and it really made us feel like home.

BelgiumThere was really nothing we did not like
OMG what a fabulous place this is! Beautifully appointed rooms in an original art deco villa, super friendly staff, delicious breakfast - even for difficult vegetarians like me - and a great location in the most beautiful part of town. Really easy to get everywhere from here, but you don't have to as everything you may want is on your doorstep. Cute garden to relax after a day's sightseeing. Good cocktails!

AustraliaI loved everything but the rooms could be a bit warm in the summer due to lack of air conditioning. This wasn’t an issue for us in April.
Casa Comtessa was such a delightful find. It had so much character and the staff were so welcoming that it was a pleasure to return to after a day of exploring the city. We loved the communal breakfast, the unique furniture and art in each room and having a drink in the cool courtyard. Juan and all of the staff were always smiling and ready to help.

Lovely, full of amazing art, and very, very quiet at night. The communal table for breakfast was a great place to meet with other travelers and share travel tips. The breakfast was made to order and very delicious. I especially liked the orange/nopale/ginger juice. The staff was very helpful in advising as to nearby ATM, restaurants, and local sights.

Incredible place in South Condessa. We truly recommend staying there. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts are delicious and there is a well provisioned fridge and honesty bar. The building is a gorgeous piece of architecture from the 40s with a cozy patio and comfortable room. There is nothing bad to say about this place. I would definitely stay there again.
