Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyThe room was a bit dark.
The hotel is right in the center in a very beautiful area. We loved the court with small pool and lovely garden. The shared kitchen was very useful! The bed was huge and the room nicely equipped. We appreciated the private parking.

CanadaThe bathroom is small and there is no water pressure in the shower.
The room was spotless and the bed was SO comfortable. The area is also VERY quiet, safe and close to restaurants, grocery/convenience stores, the main town square, bus station, etc.. The staff are warm, knowledgeable and accommodating. The room was so big and the grounds are beautiful. Pool and rooftop decks are so inviting and comfortable.

United StatesThere were some barking dogs that night in the vacant lots next door. There was no hot water in the sinks because they were not plumbed to have it.
Nice shared kitchen and area by the pool and on upper decks. Two refrigerators to store your own food. Typical of the city, I believe, there was no microwave and there was no electric pot or toaster. Gas stove worked well and there were pots and dishes. A nice pool to cool off in.

Sweden+ Nice and clean hotel on a quiet street but only a few blocks away from the main square! Big and comfortable bed! Nice and cozy garden with a small pool and also a common kitchen with free coffee and tea. There are also 2 roof terraces with chairs and sun beds. Mosquito screens on the windows and the door. Daniel and his son were very polite and accommodating as well. The parking fits 4 cars easily without anyone having to move around for someone else to get out. But the whole town has free parking on the streets in case the hotel one is full. We ended up extended an additional night. - No fridge in the rooms (although there's a big fridge in the common kitchen). Only one blanket on a big double bed for 2 (a second one was provided on request).

SpainThe lack of light in the room. If you want some natural light, everyone passing by can see you inside due to orientation of the glass doors. This lack of light is accentuated with the dark furniture and sheets so everything seems even darker and somewhat depressive. There is no safe in the room and I didn't feel safe leaving my stuff there, especially because they enter to clean the room and change sheets and towels every single day. So without the safe your valuables are exposed to whoever is cleaning that day. There is no microwave in the kitchen so don't take food to go in a restaurant, you will not have anywhere to heat it up later. If you want to leave with your car before 8AM you have to park on the street outside because there is no one to open the gate before 8AM.
The location is great! The bed was comfy. It's quiet and peaceful. Nice atmosphere near the pool area. Good value for money.

United StatesThe Parking is stacked so we didn't use our car much. The staff seemed very able in moving cars around so it wasn't a big dislike but we were always looking for parking on the street.
It took us a little while to warm up to Casa Daniels. The room was very simple but everything was in good order. It was clean and we had daily cleaning service if we requested it. The best part was the common kitchen where it seemed more like a hostel than a hotel. It was definitely worth the money and a good way to be introduced to Valladolid

United KingdomThe bathroom was very small. The kitchen might be even better with a microwave, and maybe have a sharpie pen available to mark-up food in the fridge with dates/names, to help the hotel workers figure out which food has been left behind and needs to be thrown out.
Everything was great at Daniel's - a spacious room with comfortable beds, clean and well equipped shared kitchen and a lovely pool area. We appreciated all the different spaces in the property to sit and the general tranquility. Despite its location near the centre, you could hear birds singing all the time. We also loved the daily house keeping, with fresh towels every day. Such a great location a short walk from lots of nice places. Turn right out of the hotel to go to the main square and the bustling Calzada de los Frailes, but it's worth turning left too, for a pretty smaller square with a lovely Italian restaurant and an attractive gallery/cafe.

This place was very close to the bus station (5 minute walk), was a good sized room and the staff were so friendly. The air conditioning worked really well and the kitchen and fridges were useful to store and cook food. There was a gas hob for cooking.
