Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesCielito lindo is very, very slow. One day, we had to leave without receiving the food, and it was just 2 eggs. It took more than 30 minutes. The alcohol doesn't taste good. We understand it's all-inclusive, so we can't expect premium brands, but everything tasted like perfum, and we tried them all.
Staff is very friendly. Everybody is attentive. Good location. Food quality was good. The beach is beautiful.

United KingdomThe hotel itself was extremely run down and tired. Our balcony wall was missing. Reception apart it was all needing a good re paint. Room was grubby especially the bathroom. We could not buy drinks at any pool bars because we were not all inclusive so we had to constantly leave the hotel to go to the shop for refreshments
The hotel was in a good location to the beach

Czech RepublicHotel could use some renovation. The focus is often on services that seem redundant such as everyday cleaning of leaves from the pavement and offering of overprized massaages instead of e.g.cleaning the seagrass on the beach or fixing the badly working doors.Taxi ordered by hotel came late and after urgencies however the lady in the reception solved it(5 stars to this lady!)
Hotel is directly on the beach, the sea is nice, not so much seagrass.Sufficient amount of sunbeds all over the hotel(garden, pool, beach)Food was ok. Reasonable value for money.

CanadaThe only thing I'm picky about is cleanliness. They cleaned well in general. However, there were sometimes stains on the bed linens and towels. I am English speaker. Some stuff didn’t even understand or speak English.
It's more of a family hotel, not a party place. Food and drinks: Breakfast includes omelets, scrambled eggs, sausages, vegetables, fruits, and yogurts. For lunch and dinner, there is always something to choose from. Dinner usually varies, offering Thai, Italian, Caribbean, American, and Mexican food. There are many cocktail options among the alcoholic drinks, and they are all very tasty, as well as wine, beer, and tequila. Non-alcoholic options include juices and sodas. There are also drinks on tap such as milk, chocolate milk, something similar to iced tea, and overly sweet juice, which aren't particularly tasty. People: mostly Mexicans, we only saw 2-3 English-speaking couples. Mexicans do understand some English. Learning a few basic Spanish words wouldn’t hurt. The staff is friendly and will bring you whatever you need. Beach and pool: There are two pools, both small. The round pool is only waist-deep because it's often used for volleyball. The second one is even smaller but deeper. The beach is quite small, with water scooters constantly in front of the hotel’s beach entrance, making it hard to swim. If you walk to the left, you can find sun loungers and swim. You can go up to your neck at most, as there are reefs further out. The beach is clean! The sea is crystal clear! Near the hotel, there is a money exchange and a convenience store called OXXO. It’s more like a residential area, but you can take a bus for 12 pesos per person to get to the beach or the party area.

Czech RepublicRoom Servis woke us up every morning at 8.35 even if sign do not clean was on the operation outside of the room was too noisy to keep you asleep - hotel should reconsider times to start. Noisy morning pool music starts shortly after 8am.. Restaurants stuff were nice overall, with few exceptions of individuals whos service cross the border line of being rude. You rarely find someone who speaks English so requests very often get lost in translation..
Exelent location of the hotel, wonderful beach, alway enough spots to chill by the pool or beach. Food was good

EcuadorThe food is just ok. The snacks during the day are reasonably good but the restuarant food isn’t great. However, we were there for the Christmas meal which was excellent and the a la carte experience in the Thai restaurant was great. The hotel is somewhat understaffed which can mean that you have to wait for plates, cutlery, a clean table etc. in the restaurant which can be frustrating.
We were a little concerned about our stay at Dos Playas before travelling due to the mixed reviews but shouldn’t have worries. The room was clean and much more modern than expected, the facilities were good and the staff amazing. The all inclusive package is a must and staff are happy to go ‘off the menu’ with drinks to give you what you want. There is a daily entertainment programme and a show each evening.

CanadaIt's an outdated property but not the worst we've ever stayed at :) When you know what to expect, it's actually not that bad.
Based on the ratings we were not sure what to expect but we wanted a reasonably priced accommodation in the area on our self-organized trip and this was far the cheapest option in otherwise pricey area. We were pleasantly surprised on our arrival. Not exactly the experience you're looking for on a packaged holiday but we stayed two days and it was awesome! Food is abundant and tasty, very Mexican. Drinks were great, not a post-mix type. Staff was very welcoming and worked really hard in the heat of the day. The grounds were lovely, enough shade thanks to the palm trees and tons of iguanas freely roaming around! There were three pools which were perfect for our two kids. Sarragaso at the beach was at bay when we stayed end of August and the hotel staff also cleaned it. The beach was enough for what we wanted. There was a full day program at the main pool - yoga, volleyball, dance, singing. The guests were mainly locals so it has a different vibe from your typical all-American hotel. Great deal overall and perfect spot for a few days.

CanadaThe plumbing was not good. The toilet barely flushed in the room, I didn’t use it for anything other than urination. I used the public bathroom for when I needed to go. Also the A/C was unfortunately not powerful enough. I was always sticky in the room and it was a bit uncomfortable to try and sleep.
Location was pretty. Food was good. Staff were nice.
