The staff made me feel very welcome from the get go. Provided a good tour of the facilities and were always tentative to any questions I had. The dorm was kept in a tidy state and was a nice cool area to avoid the heat. Location was amazing. Just a minutes walk to the beach and all shops.

I slept on 2 different beds in the dormitory, one was fine, but the 2nd one I moved to was super flat in the middle, so I could feel the wood underneath and it was more uncomfortable and harder to sleep. Though things were mostly clean, the dorms could use a nice deep clean - the little shelves in them were dirty and under the bed was dirty and had old stuff under them.

Hostal Maracuyá - Coworking Space is a great place to stay in Zipolite! It's totally worth it for the price. The co-working space is so lovely and the internet is stellar. For any digital nomads or people who need to work or need excellent, stable WiFi, the Starlink here is absolutely fantastic. I never had a problem with it. The location is amazing - super close to the beach and the main street with all sorts of shops and restaurants. The staff is helpful and friendly and I bonded with several of them and they were so helpful in supporting me in learning Spanish! The kitchen has everything you need to cook and store your food. The bathrooms and bed sheets were nice and clean. And they have laundry service that gets done in 24 hours. I fully recommend this hostel in Zipolite! It has a great vibe!

No shelves or cubbies in the beds to store water, phones or personal items while sleeping. A table in the locker area would be nice so that we don’t have to open the suitcase on the ground to retrieve items.

Great location and coworking space. Internet connection is superb. They also serve coffee during the day and have affordable laundry service as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Sharon was an excellent host and helped myself and other solo travelers meet and have fun together.

It is a hostel, so don't expect to be very comfortable at night. The dorm is clean, but people coming in and out and opening their lockers late at night or early in the morning can disrupt sleep.

Great location far enough away from the noise but close enough to access everything within an easy walk. Staff are friendly, place has a cool aesthetic, and WiFi is provided. Lockers are spacious enough to keep standard carry-on luggage and more. This is a great place for those looking to immerse themselves in the vibrant life of Zipolite but need a cost effective refuge to recharge.

They were doing construction during the day that was super noisy. I appreciate the efforts to improve the location, but coworking is difficult with electric saws and hammers next to you.

Zipolite is one of my favorite places I have ever been. Such a queer little beach town-- loved it! I needed to work during the week, and the hostel did the job. You walk out the front door and you're steps away from the main street.

There was a water shortage two days on my week stay but they solved it as fast as they could.

Staff is really kind Chiara, Justin & Andrés were amazing! They were up to help at all times.

The toilets and shower were very basic and not super clean. It was not horrible but could definitely be better. But I know they are working on that. I would have also liked more places to chill. There are a lot of tables to work but not that many comfortable places to hang out

The hostel is less then a minute from beach and also less then a minute from the center so it's located very good, the internet was very fast and stable and the dorm room has ac which is really helpful in those weather conditions

Dirty bathroom, cramped sleeping space, the overall impression could be cleaner.

Good internet, convenient location close to the beach, hammocks in the communal space, comfy bed and aircon at night. Spaceful locker. Fresh water accessible. Pleasant vibe at the hostel.

Definitely not a place to be working more than a couple of hours a day. The benches killed my back and butt. Water ran out 2x in one week

The hard wooden benches where very hard on my but to work from for hours. And no hot water and no ac.

Really like the atmosphere and all the staff is very good. And the location is very well located and still quiet enough. Internet doesn't get better than what it is at this place.

Could use a mirror in the bathrooms.

The location is great. Right off the main town road, close to the beach and public transportation. Bed is way more comfortable then what looks in the picture. Staff is friendly.
