Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesIt is a beachfront property where you are allowed to be nude. That creates a problem when you want to leave the room for the pool or beach. With no room safe your valuables are vulnerable if you leave the room unlocked. If you lock the room you are forced to deal with a key that would be easy to lose. I mostly left my room unlocked with my valuables hidden but this situation made me worry a bit. The loud disco next door is awful. Stay on a Monday or Tuesday and it will close earlier. It is difficult to sleep or read a book with the techno beat is thumping. It vibrates the walls.
I rated the room as "small" but it is very well appointed and comfortable. It was my second stay here. My first was last November and I had complained in my review that I did not like the "mini bar" pay for small bottles of water. This time the water was gratis. I had also mentioned the shabbiness of the deck furniture and gym equipment. This time things had been spruced up some and repaired. They are trying hard but it is tough maintaining fabrics and metal items that are exposed to sun and salt air.

United StatesI rated the room clean and comfortable because it was. It was also cute. But the deck area outside the room was a little dusty, the furniture not well maintained and the gym equipment in sad shape. They had bottled water in the room for a charge like a mini bar. Tacky. Two small plastic bottles of water should be complimentary. If you go, there are plenty of places to buy cheaper bottled water steps away from the property.
Staff were wonderful. Very friendly with a quick no hassle check in. The room was very cozy with a nice view. The pool was well maintained and never crowded. The loud disco next door was not open (Tues & Wed) so the area was relatively quiet. Some street noise however.

CanadaThat there was absolutely no sound proof to the busy street. Dogs barking vehicles and loud bikes going by, we got little sleep.
Loved the lay out and uniqueness and it was on the beach.

CanadaThe sheets and pillows had stains on them. As in other reviews it was soo noisy. With no real solid walls you had one beach nightclub right beside from the front of the room and another local nightclub on the other side at the back of the room. It’s also right on the road so the combo of all 3 noises meant no sleep.
I thought the rooms were cute in a rustic way. Great airflow and sound from the ocean. Location is good …

CanadaUnfortunately all the positives just can't outweigh the one negative, the night club nextdoor and the karaoke bar behind. Both are obnoxiously loud until 4-5 am. I was able to sleep on Monday and Tuesday when they were closed, but all other days it felt like my bed was in the middle of the dance floor. I've traveled a lot in Mexico and normally stay in places that tend to be on the loud side due to street noise which never bothers me, this was different. My bed was vibrating from the bass, I was wear earplugs inside my overear bose noise cancelling headphones, which did almost nothing. I hope they figure out how to fix this issue because I see the business failing if they don't. It's a beautiful accommodation and great staff, just obnoxiously loud 5 days a week due to neighbors.
The accommodation and staff were really great. The accommodation was super cool, the view amazing, and the drinks delicious. I got the impression this place is a family business, and they all seem to care about the place which made for a.comfortable environment to be in.

MexicoOmg, the noise. So turns out the hotel is right next to the epic Zanate disco beach club, which means that Thursday-Saturday it feels like you are sleeping in the middle of the dancefloor. I had never experienced quite something like that. They did warn me when I arrived and asked if I still wanted to stay at the hotel, but I never imagined it was going to be like that. They even offer you ear plugs, which serves for nothing. Party at Zanate goes on till 6am. It's crazy. And then on Sunday, no disco party, but then, on the other side of the hotel, across the street, there's a bar, so then we got the noice from that place. Another thing: place has no mosquito nets, and mosquitos were also hell.
the rooms are very cool, the whole barrel concept is nice. The view from the room to the ocean is amazing. Overall it's quite comfy

CanadaNo kids allowed. First thing I saw was three kids in the pool. Which was fine but not so fine at 8 the next morning when the competing bars in front and next door stopped playing music at 5am. No parties...the partying started at 1230 am in the hotel and they added blasting music. The music at check-in was so loud in our room we had to shout. Two plugs and no hot water ( I get it... Zipolite but in a new build charging almost as much as the two swanky hotels with AC? Oh. No ceiling fan ...better hope for a breeze while you're not sleeping all night. Honestly I've been way more comfortable in the 40$ per night beachfront hotel on Roca Blanca. The woman running this place seemed gobsmacked we didn't stay and didn't comprehend why people might want to be warned in the listing about the disco in their room
The hotel is brand new.
