Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyThe service was really poor, I understand it was not peak season when we were there but we were only given one pool towel for the two of us and we had to take our own breakfast to the table and back to the kitchen after waiting for an hour for it (literally) as only one person was working and there were around thirty guests. Most of the options on the menu were not available and we would not get a coffee and a juice, it was either one or the other !
The pool was very nice and well kept and so was the room

Poland1) The smell of the mold in the room. 2) Location. It's in the middle of under construction area. You will not find bars and restaurants there. If you don't have a car don't even book it. Next time we will book in zona hotelera because here you see constructions and slums. Maybe in few years it will be fancy neighborhood.
It looks like kind new hotel. I liked the linen, towels. Breakfast what we didn't expect was delicious. Staff was nice and helpful.

United KingdomThere was only a few things, but they were big things that being said. Very, very major one was the fact that it was open plan and there was no door on the shower/bathroom area so the light join the night came through the window, making the blackout curtains redundant. Also, the soundproofing wasn’t great and there was a small, visible gap around the door.
It was really beautiful. My room was really comfy and blocked amazing. Lots of little touches which didn’t go miss. Breakfast was included, the staff were great and the pool was lovely. All in all it was a nice environment during my stay.

Switzerland- location is in an area that is not yet developed and therefore is a bit dark at night - the main door has a 1cm gap on all sides - the room has good black out curtains however the window in the shower has no curtain
- small but good breakfast - attentive staff - the amazing pool - value for money was high for us - car can be parked outside

GermanyOur terrace was empty (no chair or anything). A laundry rack/line to fill the emptyness would be useful (as I saw everyone get creative on how to dry their beach things). We also booked Faisano Nomades because it promised free bikes but this was later on removed from the website which left us disappointed. The guy that checked us in refused that this was ever offered and refered us to an overpriced place (tip: there are plenty cheaper places in the direct neighborhood)
Everything is very modern, clean and stylish. The breakfast is delicious and the staff, especially John, Javier and Ignacio are very lovely. It's worth to stay around for a chat :) The neighbourhood feels very safe but is definitely the peak of gentrification.

Czech RepublicIt is a good place to stay if you have a car, but keep in mind it is at the end of a road so without a car or a rented bike it is quite far to get to the beach or to the town. We also got moved to a room which had its own small pool, but I would not really consider that an upgrade - the small pools are apparently very hard to keep clean so we didn't use it, I would just book the standard double if I were to choose again.
The hotel has a very nice design and atmosphere, which was great for us since we just wanted to chill. We really appreciated the breakfast as a part of our stay, the rooms are comfy, we actually stayed in two different ones because a lock needed to be repaired on the door of our original one. They were accommodating and sorted it out for us, although the communication varies a bit depending on who you are speaking to, also useful to speak a bit of Spanish. We enjoyed the lazy days by the pool, after good breakfast, just relaxing, I do think the value was good for the price we paid, since breakfast was included in the price.

The location was great if you like local shops & restaurants. Rossina for breakfast is a must. About 6 minutes walking distance. The issue is that if you do not rent a car, scooter or bike taxis will hit you over the head about $40 each way to the beach!

United StatesI wish the kitchen was built or that the rooms had a microwave inside to heat up food but I think they are still working on it. There is construction right beside the hotel but we are both deep sleepers so we didn't really notice the noise. The TV's don't have any subscriptions so you would have to login or watch stuff on your computer.
Although it's still in development, we had everything we needed in the room. Staff was nice and the location felt secluded from noise which we liked. Jose and Javier were very nice to talk to and they even had a surprise for us our last night. The Aldea Zama area felt very safe, it's where all the tourist are along with the hotels, airbnbs, etc. The restaurants nearby are dollar priced but very good! Everything we needed was within 20 minutes. Overall, I look forward to coming back in a couple years. Tulum is growing A LOT.
