I think the power outlets in the room are insufficient. Would be great to add a few outlets near the bed or at the table.

A room fridge would have been helpful as the weather was at all times hot, and there was nowhere to keep drinks/food cool. It is also helpful to consider for those arriving via Queretaro airport that the journey to the Flamingo Hotel takes approximately 40 minutes. We found all taxi drivers to be helpful and friendly. However the airport itself has no information or enquiry points, and no staff to guide travellers. The airport electronic board is not updated in any way, and constantly states that all flights are ‘on time’ when this is not the case. Travellers need to be alert to these facts. Our experience when leaving Queretaro airport was poor, with firstly the flight being delayed, and subsequently cancelled overnight. After standing in line for 3 hours to be rebooked, airline staff sent us to an already full hotel that could not accommodate us, and we were left at 10pm to make alternative arrangements, and make our way back to the airport for an early morning flight.

We comprised a large 3 generation UK family group coming to Querétaro for the first time for a family wedding. Our stays varied between 3 and 7 nights. Our rooms were all located near to each other, they were at all times clean and well maintained. None of us speak fluent Spanish, however the staff at all times were able to be professional, helpful and informative regarding our specific needs. The weather was hot, and the six children in our group and some of the adults, enjoyed the use of the pool and its facilities. We used the hotel restaurant on a number of occasions, it served a wide menu of good quality food, the staff here too were helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend Hotel Flamingo.

We loved this place! The bed was comfy, there was plenty of hot water, and the staff all spoke English — and most spoke it excellently. The outdoor pool was absolutely fantastic, and yes it is heated! Perfect after a long hard day of tourism!

I was not given the room I reserved. I called reception to notify them our suite did not have a balcony or view to the garden as noted on my reservation. The lady said she will review and call me back. hours past she never called. I called back and explained again to a gentleman he moved us to another suite with a side view of the garden :( and still no balcony. It was late we were tired and didn't want the struggle and stress to take away from our family's vacation. So we kept the room and never mentioned it. At check out we weren't asked how our 7 day stay was, pretty much just took our final payment (sad because I believe the Argentinian lady checking us out was the manager). There is definitely room for improvement with the reception staff.

The grounds and rooms were exceptionally clean and well taken care of. The hotel and restaurant staff were wonderful and welcoming. The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious and well priced,

The installations are very well maintained and the staff went out of their way to help us out when we need it. I will go back there for all me next business trip as it is really a home away from homw.
