Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThis resort is amazing. We were able to get accommodations last minute for myself, my mother and my husband. The staff was polite, friendly, and professional. We didn’t need anything. It’s like everything was available before we ever even knew we needed it. The property is ran by an amazing management team and amazing staff

United KingdomPlace has good food choices. Loved the food! Online platform was useful to navigate. Beach place is great. Bar is super good. Great entertainment team.+++++ Overall pleasant stay. Good that they had sockets adapted to all plugs. Things to work on: Cafe has not enough workers in the morning which was causing huge delay to take something and run for sightseeing tours. Small pool area and not enough places to stay next to swimming which were constantly reserved by people which were absent!!! That was very annoying experience. Rooms need upgrade, especially wardrobe… absolutely not enough places to hang clothes. Remark, beach volleyball activities need to be separate for kids and adults, first not safe and second no joy of playing in7-8 where small kids just not able to play with adults.

CanadaFor one night we splurged and got the presidential suite. The smell of sewage in the whole suite was soooo strong it was horrible. I was sad that we spent so much money for one night and was so much better in the swim out room. Also, no swim up pool bar in main pool (not horrible but a lot of resorts have this) was surprised at how many children were at main pool when there is another pool by the resort waterpark for families.
Loved the swim out room and VIP lounge. Food and drinks best of all resorts I've been to in Mexico.

United StatesTransportation to the hotel was very bad. Someone was supposed to greet us with a sign right outside the airport. Instead probably 200 private taxis was hounding us to ride with them instead. I had to carry our bags to the end of the parking lot and ask several people before finding our guy, then it took another 15 minutes to get on the road. I thought check in was going to happen in our room. Instead the woman was angry because they had my first name as my last and vise versa.
Staff was all very kind and helpful. The beach was nice and fairly well groomed. The Italian restaurant was great.

United StatesRestaurants say they do not take reservations and it is first come first serve, but they do have a waiting list for people, which still backs up the restaurants for hours. They open at 5 and by 6, you are waiting until after 9pm to get a table. Would be better if they just went to reservations so people know where they stand in terms of eating times.
The staff was great. Always polite, remembered who our family was when we would see them multiple times. Pool entertainment was very good. A lot of participation from people so clearly it was enjoyed. Only downside to that was there is only one adult pool, so when entertainment was happening, you could not really be in the pool as it was full of participants.

CanadaThat they tried to cheekily sell us a time share. They told us we would get a free massage / cabana, and we would need to attend a 1.5 hour presentation. Luckily we managed to avoid it. The electrical connections were loose and none of our phone chargers could stay on the wall. The USB outlets on the wall did not work either.
Excellent beach, great food and drinks, helpful staff!

United KingdomThe two steps inside our junior suit that lead to the balcony could be dangerous at least for the first night, until you get used to the room. If you have young kids or elderly try to avoid this type of room, just to be on the safe side…having said that our balcony view was amazing!
Very Spacious and luminous hotel with fresh air and sunshine circulating through the entrance well done to the architect. Amazing location right on the beach with great sunrises and sunsets, where we enjoyed having margaritas, cocktails and cold beers at the hotels beach bar. The rooms very clean and comfortable and the staff were amazing with big smiles always ready to assist. Quality of food was unique, fresh fish and meat fruits veggies top quality. The in house travel agency MTS proposed our daily trips to archeological sites, well done to David, thank you for proposing. The Cancun area is truly amazing and full of history, you must tick that box especially for families with kids ! We left with our batteries fully charged and full of great memories. The reception team was amazing thank you to Angel and also to the gym staff Guillermo. The concierge team was also amazing, thank you Anna!!!

CanadaThe kids water slide area is not very clean and slippery, we took our toddler out from there. However the other pools without slide were very good. Change rooms could be closer to pool and beach. Only washrooms are there where you can’t hang clothes.
Bars and food closer to pool. Design of the pool is good for kids and toddlers. Activities all day round. Clean rooms and overall property and restaurants No reservations in needed for restaurants Access to beach is great

United StatesAlthough there are many restaurants, we struggled to get a table on many of them because they were "fully booked" when you really didn't see anyone or many people waiting in line. Not until we escalated to management, we could get a table to seat. Btw, many tables were empty in that same restaurante they said it was fully booked 20min before!
Room was okay overall but a bit outdated. Breakfast was excellent. It is beachfront and the beach is clear from rocks. It offers a variety of restaurants, which is convenient.

AustraliaJust a word of caution > On your way out after check out the receptionist will give you a check out slip & make sure you don't hand it out to the bellboy. It's supposed to be given to the security man, because when I was about to get on the shuttle van the security stopped me and asked for the slip and also asked for my room number which I gave him but he said there's no number exist in the resort .... LOL....but luckily the bellboy to whom I gave my slip reappeared and he had no choice but to admit that he has taken it. Just give you a bad taste in your mouth.
King size bed & room with full ocean view #4275 Although the room was showing a bit of wear & tear, it is nicely decorated & spacious and the view from the balcony is just what I expected and it really put you in a good mood straight away. This all inclusive resort is very convenient and its location is just spot on and the blue Caribbean sea is so hypnotic. I enjoyed the morning walk and a dip and the bars are free flowing. Breakfast at the Ventanas was nice, lunch is usually served by the main pool. They cooked BBQ Ribs & tacos with various fillings one day and seafood paella the next. I had dinners 2x at the Azul, it's Asian inspired, the chicken satays & the seabass were quite yummy but the gyoza & the sambal short rib were rather disappointing. The Viaggio Italian was also good. I had cream of mushroom soup & rosemary flavoured steak with seared veggies & Affogato to round it off. Yummy. I also had another dinner At the Sea and had Tuna tartare followed by grilled salmon and creme brulee & like it very much too. There's also a cafe & the main bar that stays open for 24 hours. Staff are all very friendly & helpful & that makes a lot of different.

United StatesDidn’t like them constantly approaching you about spa services. They didn’t restock the minibar in our room during our stay, and that was to be done daily.
The staff were amazing! They went out of their way to remember my daughters name and treated her like a queen (it was her birthday!). The proximity to the beach was great! Good variety of restaurants to choose from.

New ZealandI wish there was a larger pool area and more shade by pool. Every day people would lay towels on chairs to "hold the chairs all day" this isn't permitted . Sometimes people would just drop their stuff there for 8 hrs and never come back. The hotel posts signs that this isn't permitted but people are people.
Food was amazing. All means and service were exceptional. The staff didn't mind no matter how many drinks or smoothies we requested and I never felt that they were begging for a tip ( other than baggage guy)

United KingdomThe cabanas on the edge of the pool - obstructing everyone’s view on the loungers behind them. The lobby bar is poorly furnished so lots of space but a lack of seating. 9:30pm live music was way too loud.

United StatesPerhaps allowing reservations for dinner for larger groups. We had 8 people in our family. It was unfortunate that part for the kids pool area was closed for renovations. But I get it.

United StatesToo crowded for the amenities available. The beach becomes crowded and the variety of restaurants little for the amount of people the hotel can hold.
The hotel is not too big that it feels empty...it has quiet a cosy feel to it. The rooms are spacias.
