My room ground floor with not much of a view for $5,500.00. The hospitality had a room right across from us and their door kept on slamming every early morning and late at night no matter who you told on staff every time..

The first night it did take 2.5 hours to get our food.

The location was great and the infinity pool with the swim up bar was amazing, especially at sunset.

Wi-Fi was worse I have ever experienced in any facility. TV's in both rooms we stayed at same as powered by internet were inoperative most of the time. Pixelated and then just stop. I spent so much time trying to work with my Internet etc. Took my time away from enjoying it all. Better fix this.

The restaurants are not the best food, must make reservations even when restaurants are not busy, cannot walk down to the beach at all.

A few minor negatives for some people: - the food at this resort is expensive. - the beach on this property is not swimmable (but beautiful to look at!)

My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort for 4 nights and we really enjoyed almost everything during our stay! The resort itself is really nice and the property is kept very clean. Even the pool areas are very well-maintained. Our room was very spacious and the bed / pillows were very comfortable. Unlike other resorts we’ve stayed at, the drinks at Grand Solmar Land’s End were actually very good (the bartenders did not skimp out on liquor and they had decent liquor options)! They also had a variety of beer options. The food was also decent! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and didn’t mind the short 10 minute walk to get to the marina.

We had an amazing time at Grand Solmar! Everything is perfect at this resort. Personnel was great, especially Efrain, Silvia and many others. Grounds are beautiful. Our room was spacious, with a large balcony overviewing the ocean. Food is amazing.

I think the resort could use a play area like some ping pong tables, pool table, shuffle board, darts, game room. Not for kids but more like a bar environment. Also an area like a cozy library where you can read, play board games, get a coffee. I think this would complete the whole experience of Grand Solmar.

I really enjoyed the peace and comfort of the resort overall. Usually we get a bit bored at resorts after a few days but we were sad to have to leave. The staff, facilities, food, aura exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed immensly.

drinks by pool very expensive $18 & beer $9 at cafe but they did have some specials (2 for 1) however my pina coladas tasted as they had no alcohol if you’re going to use Murphy bed…ask for pad for top ahead of time. I was very uncomfortable the first night (very hard) but asked for help the next day and they brought a topper to soften some. I would recommend they automatically put these on every Murphy bed so no one has to experience a bad night of sleep.

-so beautiful and friendly staff overall -the landscaping meticulous & lovely -little grocery store on premises helpful very reasonable prices for water, beer & hard seltzers sports bar food was great…especially fish tacos & burger

The property was just beautiful, we had AI and all the food and drinks were exceptional, we didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived till our departure the staff was always there for you. The housekeeping service always kept our room very nice. There is nothing better!

lot of no's and per the policy statements. if you have that large of rooms why does it only have two beds a sofa bed would of been great. Room service not included to me is very disappointing enough I would not stay again

Little to no activities available.

Location is excellent! On the beach, we were able to see whales breaching from the room. Just a short hike over the mountain to lovers beach. 15 minute walk to downtown. Hotel service was exceptional.

Felt like they over charged for EVERYTHING. A cup with ice is a charge? Coffee in the room for $15?! Every drink $15 breakfast $20 for eggs and toast?
