Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe room got extremely cold at night and there isn't any heating except blankets. There is a functioning fireplace in the restaurant however the one in the photos of the rooms is just decorative 🥶 Also there's nothing insulating the noisy rooms - it seems like people are sitting right next to you when they are talking on the phone or with each other.
The hotel's decor is its highlight - there are numerous antiques that harken back to colonial days. The staff are friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. The location is about a 25-30 minute walk to town which can be a bit much especially during the heat of the day, but the bus stops right out front and it's easy to hail a cab too. Make sure to negotiate and confirm the price BEFORE starting the cab trip!

DenmarkThe TV is as old as they get, why the signal wasnt great and the picture very "moshy". The breakfast takes a long time to be ready (the one with pancakes). The continental is just a bunch of dry, sad pieces of bread - nothing to brag about. The rooms aren't very sound isolated. We had a very loud family in the room beside us, where we could hear them all up until 11pm both nights.
The room was spacious and the bed SO comfortable! One of the best we've slept in during our trip and it had a duvet, much needed since the room is quite cold (which is great for sleeping and in general wasn't that bothersome for us). There was purified water in a tap in our room, which was so nice! Helpful and kind staff. The whole place was so beautiful and well decorated.

It is like to go back in time to 1900, due to its decoration.

ItalyUnfortunately there is no heating, therefore the room is freezing late in the night and early morning. The accommodation is a bit far from the city centre, driving may not be the best option because of traffic and difficulties of parking, but collectivos pass just ourside the hotel and it only costs 8 pesos per ride.
Cant describe how beautiful this place is. Upon arrival we spent the first 30 minutes taking pictures and videos of every corner. The room was spacious and smelt of winterspice, absolutely delighted. The restaurant has a lovely fireplace they light up at breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was delicious (tried omelette and pancakes called hot cakes here), dinner as well. Parking available on site

MexicoLOCATION is not as described. it’s in the middle of downtown, to Go to main city center you need either Car or Taxi ( 15-20 min driving). there are no good food places around the hotel, so you need to drive to the city all the time or leave in the morning and comeback at night. RESTAURANT , Los Alamos is just an expensive joke with something they call a Food. I wish I could take a photo of a breakfast they have served. 90 peso for something looks like and Scrambled eggs ( looks like 1 egg by the size of portion) with a table spoon of beans. in menu they name it Scrambled Eggs with Hot cakes. but they served it without and when I asked about Hot Cake they pointed on 2 tortillas. Coffee for 30 peso was Instant Nescafé. when you go for a walk in the city center they serve a wonderful Coffee from Chiapas for 20-35 peso fresh and delicious, just to compare. ROOM was decorated as an old Hacienda style but among decor you can also find mold in the bathroom. They have no heat in the room, so it’s cold during the day and night. Mattresses are very used, probably same date of manufacturing as they have built that Hacienda. Bed sheets as well as towels have holes and stains on it and don’t look fresh at all. when you try to find someone to change it, no one around such a shame but seems like no one cares about that property especially when they charge almost 100 usd per night.
Well, property itself has a very nice Idea Old Hacienda style, but probably that’s it.
