Bathrooms were only 2 per female (presumably similar for male) so they were heavily used but not well attended. I feel like with so many people using them a daily cleaning would be necessary which didn't seem to be the case.

Location was good, people were nice, everything thing was ok. I would stay again but probably not the first choice on the island. Rooms were clean.

Beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, well equipped kitchen and staff were friendly :) perfect location, close to the beach and bars/restaurants.

Amazing little hostel, with a prime location to reach everything easily. Rooms were comfortable and despite being a bit smaller there was enough storage for bags and suitcases so that you still could easily move around. Kitchen is nicely equipped and the breakfast super nice with toasts, avocado, cream cheese, fruits and coffee tea (even soy milk available) which all of which you can even get a little more of if you'd like. All the staff is doing an amazing job of making you feel welcomed, at home and part of their little family, made it hard to leave the place. Thanks a lot for an amazing stay to everyone ❤️ will come back!

- extra fees for everything (extra fee for luggage storage, wifi, bathroom after 1pm) - lot of mold in the dorms (directly next to the pillow) - too expensive

The bathrooms and the shower stalls were small (only 2 toilets and no space) and not functional (no hot water). The rooms were very small and not enough ventilation.

The location is perfect! Very close to the ferry, and 3 different beaches, so you can see the sunrise and the sunset. And ths staff is very nice and welcoming!

First impression the place was dark and claustrophobic. bathrooms not adequate at all very small with door in front of your face, shower dark and problem with the drainage. needs major renovation in my view. We only stayed because it was close to the beach. Staff with attitude is not want you want to hear or see in a relaxing vacation.

I agree with one of the comments saying that the breakfast is late (8:30 am).

I had a wonderful stay Itze Hostel. The place is well located and close to the beach and restaurants. The place has also one of the best breakfasts (eggs, avocado, cream cheese, coffee, tea, and toast) I had in a hostel. The girls in the room I stayed in were also friendly and respects quiet time. On the day of leaving, I was so in a hurry to catch the ferry so that I can make it to the airport for my flight that I forgot to check out and return the keys and I'm so sorry for that. I probably also forgot my padlock (for my bag) in the hostel room.

The bathroom is not cleaned every day, the water is with low pressure and the breakfast is poor. Same value paid in Mexico for other accommodations, but more facilities received.

Do not rent a bike it is expensive =)

Super clean and amazing location. Internet was working always perfectly. I did not get why some people put bad review about cleaning but it was more than fine when you come to hygiene while I stay there.

We had a very lovely time in Itze Hostel. It is always full of friendly people and the staff is amazing and helpful.Clean with pretty rooms and nice breakfast. It is located just few meters from the main street where you can find bars,restaurants,clubs,shops and souvenirs. Also,it is just couple minutes from the beautiful beach. We are definetly recommending to everyone and coming back again!

The rooms are very small and the bed really hurts my back (for the first time in Mexico). The matrass was very hard. There are no locks on the toiletdoor and shower and in the shower you see the person showering next to you.

The female washroom had bugs inside but the men’s one was clean.

The hosts are amazing people, we faced so many difficulties on our trip due to flight delays/ flight cancellations and cab issues but even though there was a language barrier they helped us out with all our issues and were always extremely nice and accommodating

it was perfect

The hostesses are absolutely lovely and so helpful. They made our trip perfect. And I love how they have decorated the property with their own shells., Mirrors, and personal touches throughout. It felt so homey, and everyone was so thoughtful. They fixed us a little breakfast and took care of us as though we were family. I love this place.

The bathrooms could be updated

Loved the location, the vibe. The rooms have enough space and everything is clean and comfortable. The staff is amazing and breakfast was ok!

Rooms very tiny and smelly. pillow and bed sheet are dirty. Dirty shower rooms and toilet. Breakfast is okay.. common sitting room are not comfortable..

Small room, lacked social area. Felt like home with Mom telling you rule after rule.

Good AC kept us comfy but the room was small and lacked any real community area. The kitchen was open to guests only during feeding time and the Drill Sergeant was quite firm in explaining the many rules. Good location near the beach but cramped.

The bed was absolutely terrible. The mattress felt like it was at least 20 years old where you could feel every spring poking into your back. The sheets were slightly too small so they came off 4 times during the night.

Staff is very friendly. We had a double room which, although not big did not feel cramped. The AC worked great and the toilets and kitchen were clean. The location is good, within walking distance of the ferry and close to beaches.
