Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWould have appreciated a Magnifying mirror in bath room for makeup application. Food was good. Would like to see adddition of more Mexican and local dishes on menu. without removing what is there. Our Friends room smaller.
Service was excellent. Employees knew our names, food preferences, were very accommodating. Decor is tasteful, classy and understated. Enjoyed the sofas by the pool and at beach instead of the usual lounge chairs. C

United States- It is a bit isolated, so you go to stay at this hotel or else you need to drive elsewhere. - The chlorine in the pool turned my son's hair and wive's a bit green.
This hotel is exceptional! Everything from the staff, the rooms, the hotel grounds, to the food, was great. I came with my family, including 3 year children (6 / 4 / 1). The staff was unbelievable in how friendly and attentive they were. There is a specific pool for children, so they stay out of the adult pool, but it is serene. The overall vibe of the hotel is pretty chill and even though there were a few other families with children, it seems to still be fairly low key. Our room was a 2 king bed with a massive terrace and private pool. The room itself was a great size, super clean and offered everything we needed. The grounds and design aesethic at the hotel are gorgeous. I'd highly recommend checking Jashita out.

Belgiumeverything perfect, maybe one thing, the cocktails were over expensive, 350mxn with 15% tip is 400mxn (22€). Even in Paris or London that is something. But there was a good choice of wine !
We had a room with direct access and a view of the sea

United Statesproperty is fine but the exchange rate they play where they convert from the booked USD to pesos at a bad rate so when it shows up on your credit card it is higher than the original booking price is really beneath them for a high class property, just to squeeze a few bucks extra. Quote me and book with a peso denominated price, then. Left a bad taste. Staff were friendly, competent and helpful. Overall a good experience. the restaurant food and service is quite good as well.
quit, clean, well-decorated, beautiful. breakfast was very good.

MexicoMost breathtaking location, food, people and experience. From the staff at the reception to the waiters in the restaurant, me and my partner felt taken care of in every way. Even though there’s no phones in the hotel rooms we could contact the reception through WhatsApp which was so much more convenient. I was able to text them while by the pool to make massage reservations instead of going there or having to call from the room like one usually has to. The ritual in the spa by the beach was such a unique experience and it was amazing waking up and going to the yoga class. We had a late checkout and were able to squeeze in a boat tour. It was so so cool! The weather was perfect, the ocean was absolutely beautiful and the crew was really informative. After our snorkel there was ceviche and fresh fruit served. Now that is service. We can’t wait to come back

United StatesWe were there during the slow time which meant renovations before the crowds come back. But the hotel and restaurant staff were super accommodating. They offered complimentary massages and were great about telling us times when the noise would be loudest. Only downside is that there wasn't a gym. Some of the dishes at the restaurant were great while others were so-so.
The location is idea--away from the beach dance party set on an idyllic bay. The staff were superb--kind, efficient, and always there with any request. The rooms were well appointed and the views cannot be beat. The pool. I mean...the pool alone is magic.

United StatesFor the expensive price, the rooms are OK and a little bare on furniture. During the heavy rainy season, our room was semi-flooded one evening when the showers were extreme. The hours of operations on the pool and the kayaking & canoe equipment was frustrating, only available from 9-5pm (when typically after 5pm is the best time to go out and kayak out of the hot Tulum sun).
Fantastic location, right on a private beach in Soliman Bay. Great restaurant with breakfast inclusive.

United KingdomEverything except from the location was terrible. The room was full of misquotes, you could hear every sound coming feom the kitchen amd the near rooms, and we could therefore not sleep before 12 at night and after 6 in the morning. The facilities of this hotel are not even near a 5 star hotel, starting from the gym which doesn’t exist. There is no one in the reception desk between 11 at night to seven in the morning, so if anything is needed at that time noone is there to help, except from a guard who doesn’t speak english at all. Generally the approach of the staff was unprofessional and most of them didn’t know well English either. The whole common space (which was very small) smelled from the kitchen (mostly fried food). I cannot understand how this hotel has managed to be rated as a 5 star hotel with very basic amenities missing, and of course nit to mention that the price per night is ridiculously high!! Don’t go there, you will ruin your holidays!!!!
The location was good, however not walking distance from the main beach of tulum
